Olive Grove Cottages is the perfect base in the heart of the Wine Country from which to relax and enjoy all that the Hunter Valley has to offer. Our first-rate fully equipped self-contained cottages are close to many fine wineries and restaurants.

Start each day with a generous in-cottage complimentary breakfast hamper. Perhaps take a winery tour (from your cottage door) in a 4WD, or take a romantic horse-drawn carriage, or go with a group of friends in a mini-bus. Then finish the day in any one of the many award-winning restaurants of the region. You can amble through the country-side on a bicycle, or take a hot-air balloon ride, or enjoy a game of golf.

Or, simply relax on your own private deck and soak up the Hunter Valley atmosphere with a glass of wine, have a BBQ (BBQ hampers can be ordered with 48 hours notice) or stroll through the olive grove and picnic in the grounds - and in the summer months, enjoy the good life around the pool.

All our cottages:
- are fully equipped and have their own private BBQ with outdoor setting, a TV, a DVD with in-house DVDs, a video, and a CD player;
- are supplied with linen, bedding and towels (towels for swimming are not supplied);
- are fully air conditioned for the hotter months and have heating for the winter.

- Cottage 3 is fully equipped & self-contained with 2 bedrooms. There is a queen size bed and a single bed in each bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge room. There is a BBQ & private deck. Tariffs include a breakfast hamper for each morning of your stayand there is complimentary wine on arrival.

- Cottage 2 has 2 bedrooms with one queen size bed in one bedroom, a queen size bed & a single bed in the other bedroom, & a single bed & a double sofa bed in the lounge room, & is fully equipped & self-contained.
There is a BBQ & a private deck. Tariffs include a breakfast hamper for each morning of your stayand there is complimentary wine on arrival.

- Cottage 1 (Studio Cottage) sleeps two & is fully equipped & self-contained. It has a king size bed (or two singles).

We are located on Hermitage Road opposite Restaurant Botanica, and between Margan Family Wines and The Mill Restaurant at Tuscany Estate (which is opposite the Hunter Resort & Blue Tongue Brewery).

Tariffs:

All tariffs include a generous self-catering breakfast hamper, and there is complimentary wine and cheese and biscuits in the cottage awaiting your arrival. All prices below are the total cost for a two-night stay.

Mid-week: (Mon - Thurs):
- $328.00 for up to two people in a studio cottage.
- Two bedroom Cottages: 2 guests twin share $350; 2 guests room each $420; 3 guests $490; 4 guests $656; and $50.00 per additional person per night (up to seven in Cottages 2 & 3).
- Extra night only $50 per person per extra night.

Weekends (Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun):
- Two bedroom Cottages: $720.00 for a 2 night week-end
for up to 4 people and $65.00 per additional person per night (up to seven in Cottages 2 & 3).
- Extra night only $50 per person per extra night (does not apply on long weekends).

- Studio Cottage: $410.00 per couple for a 2 night week-end.
- Extra night: $50 per person per extra night.

BBQ Hampers are $30 per person and include meat and gourmet sausages (choice of meat is: either sirloin steak;
or pork loin chop; or lamb loin chops; or marinated chicken breast), and come with salad, bread roll, potatoes, and something sweet to follow.

Please ask about our Special Packages that combine accommodation with, for example, a winery tour &/or a BBQ hamper &/or two-course dinner.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

- To Secure a Booking: a deposit of 50% is required to confirm the booking, the balance is due on arrival.

- Cancellations: if a booking is cancelled within 28 days of due arrival date, the refund of the deposit is subject to the cottage being re-booked for the total tariff and period;
if a booking is cancelled within 21 days of due arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable;
bookings cancelled within 48 hours of due arrival date will incurr a fee of 100% of the tariff; and
all cancelled bookings will incur an administration fee of $30.00 per cottage deducted from all refunds.

Surcharges & Minimum length Stays Apply: a two-night minimum; a three-night minimum for public holidays/long weekends; and there may be surcharges for Special Event weekends. Please confirm rates when making an enquiry.

Prices are subject to confirmation when booking.

Cottages are strictly "non-smoking" inside.

Check in from 2pm.

Check out is by 10.30am.

Late check-out is subject to availability and by prior arrangement only.

Cottages are self-catering and any washing-up, putting away of crockery, glasses, or cutlery that is required on departure will incur an additional charge of $30.

All linen and bath towels are supplied (note: towels for swimming are not supplied).

Travel directions

From Sydney:
Follow the F3 north and take the Cessnock turnoff (approximately 100 kms from Wahroonga). Follow the signs to Cessnock, turn right into the main street, Vincent St, and follow it to the end. Turn left at the lights and then immediately turn right (go passed McDonalds). After the Tourist Office, turn left into Broke Road (go passed Peterson's Champagne House) and follow Broke Rd to a T-intersection, soon after Pokolbin Village. Turn left and immediately turn right (this is still Broke Rd). Continue along Broke Rd for approximately 4 minutes, going passed the Hunter Valley Gardens, Harrigan's Irish Pub, and Tyrell's Winery, and then take the first right after Oakvale Winery into Hermitage Road. Olive Grove Cottages is approximately 6 kms along on the left-hand side of the road (beyond the Mill Restaurant and the Hunter Resort but before restaurant botanica).

From Newcastle:
Follow the New England Hwy and turn left at Hermitage Road, approximately 7 kms beyond Branxton. Olive Grove Cottages is approximately 5 km on the right-hand side of the road (just beyond restaurant botanica).

From Singleton:
At Belford turn right into Hermitage Road, approximately 6 kms beyond the Golden Highway/New England Highway intersection. Olive Grove Cottages is approximately 5km on the right-hand side of the road (just beyond restaurant botanica).
