Mountain View Retreat provides group accommodation for families, schools, clubs and other user groups. Our fully Self contained lodge provides accommodation for up to 40 guests.
Located in the Village centre of Harrietville, Mountain View Retreat is the perfect venue to explore the Alpine High Country in Summer, Winter, Autumn and Spring.
The Retreat is 15 minutes from Bright and central to Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt Buffallo.
Guests may relax in our quiet garden settings during the warmer months or enjoy the cosy log fires and convenient facilities for winter skiing and other activities. Relax around our 8 person spa tub, enjoy the wild bird life in our outdoor wine garden area or just listen to the sounds of the nearby Ovens River
The Lodge is fully self contained with 6 En-Suited bedrooms and ideally set up for a maximum of 40 people.
Each bedroom is carpeted and heated.
Servicing the unit is a fully self contained lounge/dining room and kitchen with double s/s sink, 8 burner gas cooktop, gas oven, 2 fridge/freezers, microwave, ample benchtop, cultery, crockery, toasters, pot'& pans, glassware, cooking bowls & untensils for large group cooking. A ski drying room is located in the building for the winter months.
The large lounge/dining area offers digital tv,dvd with large sofa lounge's to enable groups to gather around the open fire in the winter months. gas heating is also provided for additional comfort.
The lounge area can be seperated from the sleeping areas to minimise disturbance for those night owls.
Private BBQ facilities are also provided outdoors
The Lodge has a no Smoking indoor Policy.
The Lodge offers 6 en-suited bedrooms
6 rooms of maximum six people per room
6 bedrooms contain 2 twins and two bunks (4 beds) in each room.
All bedrooms are en-suited with shower and toilet.
Each room is carpeted and heated for guest comfort.
We provide pillow and pillow case, mattress and bottom sheet. Guests are required to provide all their own linen.
A Full linen service can be provided at extra charge $15.00 per person
