3 bedrooms have double and single bed and 1 rooms double . Romantic four poster beds, glass and marble en-suites, fire place and entertainment system in the house.
Byron Bay Guest House is located in town, close to Clark's and Main Beach. Built in 1901 for the Shire Engineer. This unique property with 12ft ceilings sits on the corner of a tranquil rain forest tree-lined street. The house has been transformed with Balinese style sculptures & a redecorated interior complete with Dutch Colonial and Balinese furnishings.
There is a breeze that keeps the house cool in summer and a wood fire and heating to stay warm in winter. It is a relaxed house - complete with lush, tropical rain forest gardens.

Located on the corner of Kingsley Street and Massinger Street, just a few blocks down from the local cinema. One minute walk to the Top Shop Cafe known by locals for the best coffee and breakfast in town. We can build a menu into the price if you like and you can ask about room service delivery. Also nearby are the local tennis courts & sports field.
A few minutes walk in the other direction down Massinger Street, is Clarks Beach - a family friendly beach with a lovely cafe on the beach that serves a great breakfast. Another scenic walk from the house is to Wategos Beach or up to the Cape Byron Lighthouse.
We are close to the beach & conveniently close to shops but far enough away from the noise & bustle of the main part of town. You can walk from the house to town and beaches in minutes.
The nearest domestic airport is Ballina, just 25 minutes away.
Coolangatta (Gold Coast) international airport is an easy 45 minute drive straight along the highway.
We can arrange a shuttle transfer or car with driver to collect and return you to the airport of your choice.
The two lounge areas have a fire place, television, dvd, stereo with cd or ipod input. It opens out onto the front verandah with daybed & outdoor dining tables that seats 8 - 10. There is a fully equipped kitchen & adjoining dining area for 8. A beautiful paved tropical garden courtyard with outdoor setting located in the privacy of the rear of the house.
The bedrooms feature either a netted timber four poster double bed or canopied queen size bed, polished timber floorboards, ample wardrobe or cupboard space, a table or dresser & chairs, curtained opening windows.
Rooms have marble or glass en-suites: one guest room features a cast iron claw-foot tub & another has a separate black marble bathroom with twin showers. 3 can be twin rooms twin share doubles but we are able to accommodate up to 10 people with an extra 3 single beds.
Perfect for those who enjoy a casual, relaxed ambience & want to feel at home in comfortable surroundings.
EXTRAS / SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS
Luxury extras can easily be arranged upon request for an additional hourly charge/service fee.
From small details to help make things more comfortable and personalised - such as your beloved's favourite fresh flowers by the bed or a picnic basket lunch for a long, lazy afternoon on the beach - through to comprehensive staffing, such as a full-time babysitter to keep the kids happy through the days while you simply relax.
At extra charge we can arrange: Full daily housekeeping, including dishwashing, making beds, cleaning, fresh flowers.
In-house treatments such as massage, facials, yoga, hair dressing, art or music lessons.
Grocery service including breakfast supplies, snacks, gourmet deli-style baskets or early morning farmer's market produce.
A private chef or catering service for assistance with meals, from the simplest picnic-basket lunches right through to romantic dinners or celebratory drinks on the verandah.
VIP concierge including secretarial services, personal assistant, help with planning local activities, booking restaurants, arranging services, etc.
In-house babysitting (charged hourly)
Infant equipment including cot, high chair, etc. (daily/weekly hire fee)
