No. 1 Tilbury Cove is a pleasant 2 bedroom architect designed villa, part of the prestigious award-winning Tilbury Cove complex. The villa is situated 15 minutes east of Nowra on a beach front reserve at the southern end of Culburra Beach. Protected by penguins head, a natural rock-break wall, the cove offers calm waters and a sandy beach.
Tilbury Cove offers the ultimate in locations, with a private beach access to Culburra Beach and another patrolled surf beach (Warrain Beach) on the other side of Penguins Head Road, 60 seconds walk from the villa. We do not supply sheets/pillowslips/towels.

Location

If location is what you are looking for, look no further. Culburra Beach is a picturesque 2.5 hour drive from Sydney and 1.5 hours from Canberra. The Villa is ideally located on the Penguin Head Peninsular, between two beaches. Culburra & Warrain. With your own private stairs to Culburra Beach, the beautiful, sand and calm surf is a great beach for the children.

If you enjoy taking long walks along the beach and going for a surf then Warrain beach is the one for you. Both these beaches are less than 1 minute walk from the front door. Do some fishing, go snorkelling, windsurfing and sail boarding. If you like bushwalking, there are great national parks in the area. The local shops cater for your every need. Everything is at your fingertips for a great holiday at an affordable price.

Local Attractions

Fishing is great in this area. Orient Point & Greenwell Point are well known fishing spots and the Crookhaven river has boat hire facilities. However, if you prefer to eat rather than catch the fish, Greenwell Point has excellent shops that sell prawns crabs fish oysters etc.
Enjoy the beaches by either surfing, windsurfing, body-boarding or just snorkel around the rocks.
For those who like to bush walk, Morton & Conjola National Parks are a short drive away.
Golfers have a choice of 3 fairways in the area.
Shoppers have it all. Berry is sure to please you with many antique & gift shops, cafes & restaurants. Well worth an afternoons outing.
Take the scenic drive and enjoy the beautiful lush hills of the Kangaroo Valley.
If you have time after all these attractions there is always Jervis Bay which is a short drive from Culburra Beach.
