Bar Point is located 15 minutes up stream from Brooklyn and it has no vehicle access. Access is via your own boat or water taxi which will set you down at your own jetty. There is only 1 ferry departing Brooklyn Mon-Fri at 9.30 a.m.
Bar Point is surrounded by hundreds of acres of high mountain National Park land with housing at the waters edge where you can fish, swim, wander along one of the walking trails or just relax. Bar Point facing west will have you admiring brilliant sunsets, the best time to try your luck in one of the Hawkesbury's most popular fishing spots. Bar Point is connected to city electricity and telephone, rain water is collected in tanks and water restrictions must be observed.
BUNYA COTTAGE is a one room character cabin with privacy and charm situated in beautiful landscaped grounds with large riverside BBQ area. The bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a canoe on the jetty available for your use. This property is not fenced so bring life jackets for non swimming children. You will also need your own linen, food and beverage.
