St Chad's was built in 1864 and has been beautifully restored maintaining the magnificent leadlight windows and open fireplaces with marble surrounds. The large garden features cedar trees, rhododendrons and a large ornamental pond. The homestead has a large lounge for exclusive use by guests. It features leadlight windows, open fire and has been extensively furnished with rare and unusual antiques, super comfortable Versace couches, TV and DVD. There is an extensive library in the lounge and hallway crammed with diverse and interesting books. Guests are encouraged to enjoy a home cooked breakfast in the cosy, country atmosphere of the kitchen with a wood fired aga stove, walk in pantry and cellar. Guests have a choice on booking of three rooms. The Chapel Room- Original leadlight windows, furnished in French provincial and Versace style with queen sized bed, individual electric blankets, TV and en suite with double spa, separate shower and toilet. Overlooking the pond. The Wisewould Room- Featuring Versace and antique Ming furniture with open fire, king size bed which can be split into two extra large singles, TV and en suite in Victorian style with hydro spa, hand held shower, lead light windows and electric heating. The Japanese Room Featuring Japanese furnishings, a queen sized bed, TV, electric heating and en suite with shower, bath and toilet. All guest rooms have quality linen, European pillows, doonas, bath products, complimentary chocolates and champagne. The owners offer a discount for multiple room bookings on enquiry. Hosts Carla and Colin are well travelled and have set out to provide everything they would like for their guests. International visitors are very welcome and as a welcome bonus Carla speaks German, Dutch and Japanese. Airport pick up is available for interstate and international guests at a charge of $50 each way
