Description
The HOMESTEAD: Priced 2 people per room with GST not including breakfast.
Built circa 1853 a period colonial house that has 3 bedrooms, two with open fires named the Tuscan and Provincial rooms and we class these as our deluxe rooms. There are robes supplied for the use of guests to wear to the 2 period bathrooms in the hall, which have original claw-foot baths, shower and toilet. Suitable for small group bookings, couples twin share and singles. There is a TV/DVD in all rooms and TV/DVD in the lounge where there is an open fire. There are a range of tea and coffee`s to choose from in the conservatory. Hydronic heating through-out and a view over a 100 metre garden. Decor is in keeping with the period to which it was built. The Great Outdoors TV Team has experienced in-doors here.
Group accommodation
The Manor House: Priced 2 people per room with GST not including breakfast.
Very few accommodation properties will compare with the manor's comforts and its flexability. Included are eight very individual bedrooms with ensuites all surrounding a large open lounge and central is a grand double sided open fire place. The sun shines in all directions throughout the day. The furnishings in the manor are of eclectic decor, which creates a sense of homelyness. The manor has two premier rooms each suite 2 to 4 persons. Also 4 deluxe rooms either doubles or twin share. Then there are two small standard rooms, one twin and one double.
All quality bedrooms have ensuites, TV/DVD's, tea and coffee facilities and central heating.
Not only is the use great for groups the manor also provides for individuals, couples or twinshare and suited for an overnight stay. The large acreage has maintained its rural feel, with sheep, ducks also horses in the surounding paddocks. We have a private road which leeds of the main highway that passes through Daylesford. There is off-street car parking for our guests without the worry of vehicles being left unattended off the property.
