Killcare Beach House is a classic beach house, set on the high side of Grandview Cresc., just a short stroll to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the cafes and restaurants of Hardys Bay.

Only an hour's drive from Sydney, you'll unwind as you take in the ocean views from the large wrap-around covered deck.

The house has a modern kitchen including dishwasher, and 2 bathrooms.

Accomm. includes 2 double bedrooms, a single room with bunk beds, and a sleepout/sunroom with a set of bunk beds, perfect for the kids.

The property is fully self contained incl. a new flat-screen TV, a selection of DVD's, CDs, games, and a barbeque.

Location

Killcare is only an hour's drive from Sydney on the Central Coast.

It is surrounded by beautiful Bouddi National Park, with many walking tracks to explore.

Directly across from the house is a track that takes you to the beach.

Local Attractions

Killcare Beach is a patrolled surf beach, with a protected rock pool at one end close to the Surf Lifesaving Club, cafe and facilities.

The beach is excellent for surfing and swimming, as well as fishing. The rock pool is perfect for small children.

There are many walks through Bouddi National Park, including a breathtaking boardwalk which follows the cliff at the northern end of the beach.

There is a general store which sells groceries and wine/beer, as well as fine cafes and gourmet restaurants within an easy stroll of the house.

You'll also want to visit nearby Woy Woy and the Fishermans Wharf - where you can feast on the finest seafood at very reasonable prices.

  • "I stayed at the Beach Lodge with a group of girlfriends. It was lovely to sit in the lounge room with the gas heating on, looking over the ocean. The house is not huge, but enough room for qutie a big group, especially with the large, wrap around balcony. It's a lovely walk down to the shops, and there was a great range of DVD's as well. Everything was very very clean, and it was a great value stay!"

  • "What a fantastic find. Falling asleep to the sounds of the roaring ocean was heaven. The Killcare beach house is perfect for both romantic weekends and family holidays. The balcony overlooking the sea was the preferred spot for all our meals, that was when we could drag ourselves out of the hammock. dvd library for the occasional wet day and board games galore for when the sun goes down. This place has everything. I highly recommend."

Wonderful listening to the surf and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. One piece of advice do not attempt the dog jigsaw puzzle (unless staying for a week) as it will do your head in."

We sat in the warm winter sunshine on the balcony, admiring the view, and had some glorious walks on the beach, which is right nearby. We also loved the little walk down to the cafe and fish & chip shop on the bay side. We only stayed for a weekend, but would happily spend longer there in summer holidays. Thank you!"
