This beachfront house is in one of the best spots on Culburra Beach. Photographer Max Dupain/s famous photo "The Bodysurfer" was taken here and artist Arthur Boyd was a neighbour. Culburra is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches on the coast.

Surf with the dolphins, watch the wales on their migrations from the deck or enjoy some relaxed beachcombing. This is the ultimate place to get away. Ask us about fishing, diving and sailing charters, winery tours and antique shopping.

When we were looking for a place to stay our main goal was to find somewhere with a deck and a view of the sea. The Lighthouse delivered on this in bucketloads. The view from the large deck - and from the living areas and main bedrooms - is magnificent. You get the Pacific Ocean in the front (with a short stretch of coastal heath in between - lots of little birds) and beautiful Culburra Beach stretching away to the right and left. There are other houses on either side but they do not intrude and are screened off to some degree. The house itself is comfortably and thoughfully furnished in a modern, relaxed, slightly eclectic style. Not a floral cushion or chintzy trinket in sight. The kitchen is well equipped. We liked the double shower in the bathroom too. Wish we were still there, on the deck with a bottle of bubbly and a plate of freshly opened Greenwell Point oysters! Thankyou for a wonderful stay - we really loved The Lighthouse and have recommended it to several groups of friends.

This is a beautiful house. Perfect location right on the beach with ocean views. The outdoor shower is such a treat and the house is decorated beautifully. I will definitely come back.

The Lighthouse is a lovely getaway for a romantic interlude or a family holiday. It has all of the mod-cons without being pretentious. And the location is ... indescribable! (But I'll try) - beachfront views, on the dunes (so remaining private), able to hear the ocean at night, feeling the gentle ocean breeze (or strong winds!) while sipping a chardy on the deck with a loved one (or sculling cordial with the loved ones).

This house is bigger and better than the pictures portray.The kitchen has everything you need for a cook up, a coffee machine is also provided. The fire place served as hours of entertainment and the beach is literally a stone's throw away. Will definitely be looking to come back here in the Summer months. Amazing!

This property offers fantastic sweeping views of the ocean. A warm and cosy interior with large open plan. Loft Master bedroom is charming with great views of the ocean. A very quiet and secluded property with direct access to the beach makes this place a wonderful peaceful holiday destination.

I love this house! If I won lotto, I would buy it, and all my friends have said the same. I have spent my last two birthdays here over the weekend with my closest friends. We spent the days surfing and lounging in the sun. Does it get better? I will be booking again next year.
