Protea Farm has 2 well appointed self contained country cottages- Protea Cottage & Grevillea Cottage- set on 25 acres of tranquil rolling hillside, that each sleep up to 8 people.

Each cottage has 3 bedrooms with queen size beds & a sofa bed in each lounge room.

Both have a full size kitchen, 2 bathrooms, separate lounge & dining areas, tv, Austar, stereo, cd player, dvd player,a library of books and dvd's, reverse cycle air conditioning, wood fires, outdoor bbq & all the comforts of home.

Enjoy the magnificent panoramic views over the Erudgere Valley from the verandahs, take a walk around the property & through the natural bushland, have a game of tennis on the full size court, or simply curl up by the cosy wood fire and relax.

There is something to cater for almost every interest, either on the property or around Mudgee.

With an abundance of kangaroos & wild birds around the property, there is a deep connection with nature that you will not find elsewhere.

All towels and linen are supplied. The only items you need to supply are your personal toiletries and your food.

Whether you want a weekend getaway, a family holiday or just some rest & relaxation, Protea Farm Cottages will accommodate you in comfortable and friendly surrounds and will find you not wanting to leave at the end of your stay.

Location

Mudgee is an enjoyable 3 1/2 hours drive west of Sydney through the Blue Mountains. Take the Mudgee turnoff as you leave Lithgow.

Protea Farm is located at 60 Carara, Rd, Mudgee.

When travelling from Sydney, as you are entering Mudgee turn right at McDonalds onto Church Street. At the clock tower, turn left onto Market Street. Travel out of Mudgee (heading towards Gulgong) along this road for approx. 3 km. Turn Left into Hill End Road (Honey Haven is on the corner). Travel for 8km approx. and turn left into Carara Rd. (signage is on this corner). Protea Farm Cottages are 400m on the RHS.
