Description

Tanglewood is a delightful two bedroom house nestled in an expansive, 1500 sq metre, mountain garden.

There is a large sunny living area which looks out onto the private and extensive garden. The kitchen is very well equipped and linen and towels are provided.

The house is heated by a gas log fire in the living area. The fire is very warm, cosy and easy to operate.

The two bedrooms each contain a double bed with electric blankets.

Character and charm abound in this tastefully decorated mountain home.

Location

Tanglewood is situated in a beautiful part of South Leura. It is within walking distance to the historic Leura Mall with its renowned restaurants and cafes, "Everglades" garden is close by and the Three Sisters is a short drive to Katoomba.

Tangelwood is surrounded by many famous gardens which are open to the public during spring. In spring the area is alive with cherry and peach blossoms. In autumn the colours of the leaves are wonderful.

The Three Sisters, Australian World Heritage National Park Walks, "Everglades Gardens", Leura Golf Course.

Guest Reviews

Tanglewood is a lovely winter getaway that is great value for money. When we arrived it quickly heated up with the gas fire to make it cosy warm. The kitchen is more than adequate to be able to self cater for meals. The beds are comfy, not too hard not too soft, though the pillows are a bit flat.

The photos don't do Tanglewood justice, the only criticism I would have is that although it's walkable it is a hilly hike from Leura village - we were too relaxed to attempt it!
