The bedrooms are serviced by 2 bathrooms (1 is a 2-way en-suite) with shower and separate bath.

The living areas of the house have cathedral ceilings, 2 fireplaces, overhead ceiling fans and large picture windows from which you can view the distant escarpment and rolling hills.
There are comfortable leather sofas and arm chairs to seat 8, country style dining setting for 8 and kitchen bar stools.
The living room also houses the flat screen (satellite) TV, video, DVD and CD player and the eclectic library of CDs (over 130), videos, DVDs and books as well as numerous Board Games.

If you prefer the great outdoors, you can swing in one of the four hammocks or sit in one of the rocking chairs on the wrap-around verandahs and look out for kangaroos and echidnas or just wile away the time with a book from our library. If you like activity, there is pole tennis to play, bikes to ride or a football to kick.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern European appliances (including dishwasher and microwave), quality pots and pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. In addition we have an Espresso coffee machine so that you can make your own professional standard espressos!

For al fresco dining there is a 7 burner BBQ and outdoor table with market umbrella as well as tables and chairs on the verandah.

To make your stay even more relaxing, we can organise a beautician to visit the house and provide whatever pampering experience you choose (fees apply) and/or we can organise for a local caterer to home deliver some yummy fare either hot or cold. (Fees apply)

  • "Dear Louise Thank you so much for a lovely weekend in your gorgeous valley retreat. The house was fabulous and we all had such a great time. Walks down to the creek, the little ones loved the pond and the gardens and verandahs got great use by the kids racing around and playing hide and seek. The mums were very happy with the kitchen and as expected the Dads appreciated the TV at night for the Wallabies match and the Tour De France. We went horse riding locally and enjoyed some treats from the Tea House all in all a great time, we all just wished for just one more day. Thanks again, and would be happy to book again and refer on to our friends. Amanda "

  • "We had an amazing weekend away at Elsewhere. The house is beautiful, very clean and well stocked with anything you could possible need. We took our two dogs who had the time of their lives exploring the property. We all loved it so much we have already booked another weekend in a few months time! We highly recommend this property. Thank you Elsewhere. "

  • "We've just spent a wonderful winter weekend away at Elsewhere, and absolutely loved it. Fabulous house with wrap-around decks, amazing views, and privacy. Highly recommended! "

  • "I highly recommend this property for a family with small children. The retreat offers seclusion(children can go crazy and not bug others) while located near civilisation. The house is very 'workable' and has anything required for a stay; very well fitted out kitchen, potacot and lots of space. Owners have given the place great attention to detail. We loved it and will definitely return. "

  • "Elsewhere "Wow" was way beyond our expectations...It offered peace tranquility and serenity and even though it rained we still enjoyed just sitting in the rocking chairs on the verandah and swaying in the hammocks....all you could hear apart from your own heart beating were the sounds of birds, crickets and frogs...just listening to the rain with Andrea Bocelli echoeing through the valley was haunting and mesmerising...we will never forget our stay at Elsewhere and we will definately be back....A++++"

  • "From the welcome basket on arrival to all the little touches of home Elsewhere was absolutely the most wonderful place to stay. The love and care shown to the gardens & the whole property made you feel much more like being in a family home than a rental property. A beautiful outlook, made for a most relaxing stay. Thank you Elsewhere!!! We will definitely be back."

  • "Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at Elsewhere last week. We were absolutely delighted with the presentation of the house and the extra thought that has clearly gone into making it perfect for a break away. We planned to eat in during our stay and this was made easier because the kitchen was as well equipped as home. We have rented many holiday homes during the past 10 years and your house was one of the best equipped and cleanest that we have experienced. Thank you for letting us share your wonderful retreat and we look forward to hanging in the hammocks again some time in the future. "

  • "Stayed at Elsewhere during a brief visit to Australia, we just wished that we could have stayed longer at this wonderful home. Louise & Andrew have invested so much of themselves in this property you feel as though it's your 'home' for the stay, they've thought of just about everything. Roo's arrived 10 minutes after we did & that set the atmosphere, peace, quiet & so much space. We just sat back on the verandah & enjoyed the bubbly that they had left as a welcome!"

  • "Elsewhere welcomed us from the second we stepped inside. The interior spaces are open, light and airy, comfortable and easy to relax in. Beds and linen were crisp, clean and cosy. Bathrooms were easily accessable with everything necessary to help visitors feel straight at home. Even though we had rain on Friday, wild winds on Saturday, and cold breezes on Sunday, everything was perfect. We lit the fire, ate great food (with the help of the lovely kitchen and appliances), listened to music, watched a DVD, played games, rode bikes, swung in the hammock, read on the veranda(even if we had to be shrouded in blankets), played totem tennis, went for walks around the property, and generally enjoyed the silence, views, and animal life. What a fantastic family weekend! What an amazing way to let the stress drift away, and the brain 'chatter' to quiet down... we'll definately be back... but for much longer next time! Thanks to Louise and Andrew for sharing this lovely location. "
