Hosts, Tony & Chris (Sydney rat-race escapees), invite guests to our 30 acre farm nestled amongst grazing land and pine forests, just a short drive from renowned Hawks Nest & Tea Gardens.

AAA Tourism 4.5 star luxury, smoke-free, country-style hospitality, sumptuous breakfasts, open log fire, Spa & heated pool … what more could you want?

The Tibouchina Room. It is huge, in fact it used to be two rooms! It opens on to its own verandah by the pool and can accommodate up to four guests in one queen and two single beds. What’s more it has a large 3-way bathroom (separate rooms for toilet, shower/spa & vanity). Ideal for the family!

Also avalailable are The Lavender Room and Callistemon Rooms. Both have a king size bed (or two king singles), ensuite, own separate private verandahs each with a 2-3 person outdoor spa, overlooking the rolling paddocks. The ideal spot to watch the kangaroos grazing at sunrise & sunset.

The Guests lounge is enormous and boasts an open fire, stereo, TV, DVD/VCR, fridge and a bar area. There's a small kitchenette for guests use. It has a sink, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, plus a host of other items for using at the BBQ.

Enjoy a full country breakfast with our own free-range eggs, served at your leisure either in the lounge/dining or on the verandah. Evening meals are available (by prior arrangement) from an extensive à la carte Menu. All meals are home cooked by Tony, a qualified chef with over twenty-five years experience. It's like having your own personal chef!

All rooms have large fluffy towels, bath robes & crisp sun-fresh sheets to envelop you. We’ll even throw in the fresh country air!

Location

Two hours north of Sydney (and getting closer!) We are on the western side of Pacific Highway, but only 12 minutes from the twin towns of Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest. Viney Creek Road is 3km north of the Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest turn off, along Pacific Highway. Lavender Grove Farm is 550 meters up the dirt road on the left.

Local Attractions

This beautiful area has the best of both worlds;
A rural setting affording tranquillity and privacy, yet only a short distance from the sparkling, clean, white beaches and great boating facilities on Port Stephens, the Myall River and the Myall Lakes. Bring your boat … there’s plenty of safe, secure parking, or take a dolphin watch cruise. We’ll even make the booking for you

Energetic guests can enjoy magic bush walks along original dirt roads used by Cobb and Co. If you’re a golfer, why not play a round or two at Hawks Nest Golf Course, one of the loveliest 18 hole golf courses on the Myall Coast. Fishermen and fisherwomen may like to drop a line in at one of many local fishing spots. (Why not take a picnic hamper with you?).
Or you can stay on the farm, explore the orchard, feed the cows & chooks), laze around (or swim in) the solar heated, salt water pool or simply relax, unwind and watch the kangaroos grazing.

In winter, the cosy, open log fire is a definite attraction. We’ve got a whole host of board games, card games and the like for your enjoyment.
