  • "All the family fell in love with this cottage from the moment we entered it. The owner had arranged to have the heating turned on prior to our arrival so it was cosy and warm when our frosty selves entered. Everything was just lovely. Not so swish that a family can't feel at home but classy enough to make us feel very lucky indeed to have found this little gem. After a day out we looked forward with pleasure to our return to our mountain hideaway. The owner is the perfect hostess - thoughtful chocolates, games, great cooking bits and bobs - it's got the lot. Oh I'm sorry the children stole all your shampoos and soaps - they just looked so lovely they took them as souveniers :) We will be back!"

  • "We had a lovely stay in Blackheath, the cottage was just perfect, warm & cosy (actually so warm we did not need all heaters going), the pictures on the site do not do it justice. The location could not be any better so close to everything. We had a relaxing weekend so great we did not want to leave. The cottage was just what we had hoped for & more, we will be returning. Thanks for everything."

  • "What a fabulous cottage to spend the Easter long weekend! We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights stay in Blossom Cottage. This was our 4th year to spend Easter in the Blue Mts and Blossom Cottage is the best accommodation we have had so far. Thank you very much to Megan and Wayne for providing such a beautiful cottage. The friendly service received from Megan during the lead-up to our stay was much appreciated. Thank you also for the Easter chockies and the hand-picked bottle of wine. We will definitely be back. Regards; Francine, Simon, Aidan and Ashleigh."

  • "Blossom Cottage - what a find! Super convenient to the Blackheath shops (which allowed several trips to the village for early family meals with our three young boys). Great central position meant my husband could catch the train up from the city after work while I could arrive earlier with the little ones. The heater toasted up the entire house (on the lowest setting). Two TV areas meant parents and kids could watch different things - bliss! Thoughtful extras abound in this cottage...access to pantry goodies, toys and videos for the kids, electric blankets, plenty of cookware etc. Good layout for families as parents could be downstairs with the children upstairs. Absolute bargain for the weekend we thought. Nice change to stay somewhere different to the bigger towns - very relaxing. We will certainly be back. Thanks."

  • "My family and I have stayed at Blossom Cottage a number of times. We keep coming back because it's the definition of cosy. It has everything you need for a mountain holiday - a fireplace, cosy bedrooms and a sunny outlook over a typical Blue Mountain garden. It's clean and fresh and we always feel rejuvenated after each visit. It's perfect for a young family like ours - as long as stairs aren't an issue."

  • "What a lovely cottage conveniently located to Blackheath shops. The upstairs bedrooms were great while the gas fire kept the house warm and cozy. The children enjoyed the spa bath and the games. Will come again."

  • "WOW, what an amazing place to spend Christmas. The cottage was a magical hideaway containing everything you would ever need for a relaxing break away. Walking distance to the shops, cafes, bars and lookout plus handy to other parts of the Blue Mountains. The cozy fire, comfy beds, great reading material and modern decor made for total R&R. Terrific value for money. Thanks for sharing it with us, we will be back!! "

  • "Thanks for a wonderful last minute weekend away! The cottage was in the best position, walking distance to Blackheath's cafes & restaurants & an easy drive to the start of many great walks. The cottage was very cute, equipped with more than we expected, perfectly clean and quiet. We will definitely be back! "

  • "Wonderful, so comfortable, clean & warm - very difficult to leave and head back home! A lovely house, & all the little extra touches made it just that little bit more special. Lots of movies & games kept our children entertained when we stayed in. The 2nd living area off the kitchen was a great area for us all to be together while cooking. Great kitchen equipment & supplies too. Proximity to the local shops meant that we could wander up the street without having to pile into the car for supplies. A great weekend, thanks."
