Description

Glanmire, Maitland, is located in the Hunter Valley Region, conveniently situated not far from the wineries and just under 2 hours north of Sydney.

This lovely Federation home (1910) includes three beautifully furnished bedrooms with queen size beds and two renovated bathrooms. There is a spatious sunroom/music room, library, cosy lounge room and a formal dining room with an intricate leadlight bay window, and a well fitted country kitchen.

The gardens are a tranquil oasis with several private leafy nooks, BBQ area, orchard and a 10 metre saltwater pool tastefully landscaped to blend in with the surroundings. There is an old sandstone sulky stable (circa 1864) adjoined by a 4 - 5 car wisteria covered trellised carport. The glasshouse offers further evidence of the grandure of the property.

This is an adults only retreat.
There are no facilities for children under 20 or for pets.

The photos do not do it justice and I can assure you, this will definately be a pelasant surprise. Wine tour pickups are 5 mins up the road; so if wine tours are your thing then this is a beautiul relaxing little spot."

"Went down to Maitland for a family function and stayed at Glanmire 6 of us stayed and we all had a great time. The weather was nice and used the pool and BBQ. Other family members visted us while we were there and were very impressed with the house. Just beautiful and had everything can't wait to stay again when the opportunity arises. Thankyou."

A credit to the owners. There are plenty of areas inside and out for solitary time if desired. There was plenty to do around the area with the Maitland Markets and Morpeth had some nice places to dine. Highly recommended place to stay and good value for money"
