Xanthe's Cottage provides for a very private and beautiful setting and is within walking distance to Mt Victoria shops and a short drive to Blackheath or Katoomba.It is the perfect base to explore all the Blue Mountains has to offer. Take time out and visit the Zig Zag Railway, Jenolan Caves, the Three Sisters, the Oberon wineries and the many bushwalks in the area.

The slow combustion fireplace and the secluded outdoor spa make for a perfect setting for romance or a getaway with family or close friends.

Surrounded by beautiful bushland, its intimate and relaxed atmosphere make this a lovely venue to enjoy the sounds of the native birds, the smell of the crisp mountain air and see the mist roll in over the tree tops as you enjoy a glass of wine on the deck or in the outdoor heated spa.

Outdoor Heated Spa

Probably the most unique feature of Xanthe's cottage is the outdoor heated spa.

The spa can seat four comfortably and looks over the picturesque bushland. Private, the spa can be the perfect romantic addition to your weekend away in the Blue Mountains.

The spa temperature ranges from 20 degrees to 40 degrees which means you will be warm on the coldest winter day / night in the mountains. The spa also has LED lighting so you can choose the colour to match the mood.

Xanthe's Cottage with its combination of unique features and facilities cater for a romantic weekend away as well as a get together with family or close friends.

For the family Xanthe's Cottage is close enough to the main attractions including the Zig Zag Railway, the Jenolan Caves, Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens and Echo Point (Three Sisters). When you are back at the Cottage you can fire up the BBQ, play an Xbox game, watch DVD's or sit in front of the fire and play a board game.

For couples, sleep in and allow the birds to wake you from your slumber in the comfy Queen bed. Take the morning to stroll into the quaint village and enjoy breakfast and coffee. Fill your day with bushwalks, antique shopping, and exploring all that the Blue Mountains has to offer. Take the picnic set provided and try the Zig Zag bushwalk which starts at the end of the road, less than 500m from your door step, and enjoy the magnificent views from Pulpit Rock. Return to the Cottage to unwind in the Spa, and finish the day together in front of the fire.
