Comments from recent guests

This house was absolutely incredible. From the minute we walked into the house we felt totally relaxed and calm. The silence of the region plus the comfort of all the decor was gorgeous. We spent most of our time either watching the gorgeous fireplace roaring with heat, or sitting out watching the world go by. Thank you so much for our time there - everyone agreed that we WILL be back again!!

Everything was perfect - the property is one of a kind and all that stayed only had fantastic things to say about it. Beautifully designed, modern fixtures and amenities, landscape to view and away from it all.

Our weekend was fantastic, we can not say enough about the gorgeous house and for thinking of all the little things needed but often forgotten. We had an amazing time with all the tired and frazzled mothers leaving yesterday feeling revived and a little sore from the laughter and warm with memories that we will keep with us for a long time. It really was a special weekend.

Charleson Farm was very nice ... the perfect place for families who want total seclusion. The kangaroos came right up to the house almost every day.

WOW that was great holiday even though we were rained in, we still went walking in the rain and dried by the beautiful fireplace! We definitely plan to come and stay again - it is hard to find such a nice house that fits all my siblings in it!!

The house is fantastic for a group weekend away, with all quarters very well designed – it was just what we all needed. Kids were entertained, whilst in the next room we grown ups could have grown up time! We would definitely recommend to our friends and look forward to coming back in the near future.

  • "We had a wonderful weekend relaxing with our friends and children. The toddlers loved the variety of toys to play with as well as watching the kangaroos jump the fence and graze on the property. A perfect weekend for something a bit different."

The silence of the region plus the comfort of all the decor was gorgeous. We spent most of our time either watching the gorgeous fireplace roaring with heat, or sitting out watching the world go by. Thank you so much for our time there - everyone agreed that we WILL be back again!!"

  • "Our party of six adults (of various vintages) spent a wonderful couple of days at Charleson Farm. We loved everything...the space, the peace and quiet, the roos, the wood stove, the comfy beds, the mist at dawn and, most of all, the night sky. Plenty of care has clearly gone into making Charleson a "home from home". Everything we needed was provided and we appreciated the generosity of a late checkout time. Gorgeous autumn weather made our stay extra-special but I can imagine Charleson being beautiful in any season?..we're already plotting to return in the Spring. "

  • "What a fantastic property for a holiday. We are a large family of Grandparents, Adult Children and Grandchildren and this wonderful house accomodated us all very comfortably. The children were happy with the games and being able to play outside without any major restrictions whilst the adults were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings. As we only had the weekend to enjoy each others company and catch up on all the news, due to our busy lifestyle, we did not find the need to explore the local activities, of which there were plenty. We most certainly will be telling our friends about what Charleson Farm has to offer and how easy it was to arrange our stay with prompt and friendly replies. "

  • "A very enjoyable and relaxing week. Quiet and secluded but close enough to Winchelsea for the paper and good coffee at the Larder . Only 25 mins to fairhaven beach. We all got pretty good at foozball and table tennis - games room a great idea for the kids. A really good family holiday, had 2 families there for a couple of nights and there was plenty of room. Even got to Torquay for a game of golf. "
