Prefer a more subtle start to the day. A choice of cafes and restaurants awaits you at Dolphin Quays just 100 metres away.
Wander through the markets, around the Marina itself or across the footbridge to the Cinema, Performing Arts Centre and Sailing Museum.
The Estuary and Canals in Mandurah provide some spectacular sights. Dolphins are quite common and the fishing and diving in the area is AWESOME.
One of the local charter fishing boats is well known throughout Perth for its dhufish and snapper catch.
Mandurah is of course renowned for its crabbing.
Scuba diving on the Murray reefs is sensational with huge limestone caves, plenty of fishlife and many swimthroughs. There are 3 dive shops here eager to book a charter dive or give you some great spots.
After another gruelling day in what is now being referred to as the next Gold Coast, come home and enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony as you watch the setting sun over the waves gently lapping up your own beach.
