Highland Lodge Farmstay
A perfect base located 13km from Jindabyne set in the heart of the NSW Snowy Mountains the ideal place for outdoor adventure.
Skiing and snow play are great fun but can be trying for young children and adults,we offer the best of both worlds.
It is great to have the farm and fire place to come back too. Parents get to relax and the chilren are entertained with the many animals.
Canberra Airport is a 2 hour drive and we are 5 ½ hours from Sydney. Hire cars are available at the airport.
Perisher & Thredbo ski resorts are 40 minutes away.
Snow Sports:
Perisher and Thredbo resorts are 40 minutes away. If you need a break from the slopes you can check out the farm or you can get out and see all that the mountains have to offer.
Water Sports:
The perfect location for the fishing, sailing or water skiing family or group, with plenty of parking for the boat & trailer. We are located between two of the most popular fishing spots; Lake Jindabyne & Lake Eucumbene. The Eucumbene trout farm is just down the road and the Gaden trout hatchery is close by. Fishing charters and lessons are available from renowned local guides.
Horse Riding:
We are only minutes from the 5 star Jindabyne Equestrian Resort for horse riding and lessons with beautiful mountain trail rides. Also Horse riding and pony rides are available at Thredbo Valley Horse Riding 20 minutes away.
Shopping / Dinning:
The township of Jindabyne with its many specialty shops, supermarket, restaurants, cinema, nightlife, Bars, heated indoor pool and skate park for the kids is only 10 minutes away.
Musts to see-Crackenback Cottage and Maze and Wildbrumby Schnapps Distillery on the Alpine Way.Snowy Vineyard Estate near Dalgety.

Highland Lodge Farmstay offers 3 modern self-contained units ideal for large families or groups of up to 18 people. Each unit sleeps up to 6 with a queen bed and 2 sets of bunks separated by sliding doors for extra privacy. Our property has an AAA 3 star rating.

Our comfortable guest lounge, featuring country furnishings and a cosy log fire, is the perfect place to relax. You can read one of our books or magazines, watch a DVD movie on the wide-screen TV, play games, listen to your favourite CD or enjoy a dinner party. Unwind with our complimentary tea and coffee. Or cook a BBQ in the covered area, while the kids entertain themselves on the play equipment.
The Farm is a 160 acre working cattle property and provides every visitor with a true high country experience.
Bring the kids, there's plenty of room to run, bring your bikes to ride & explore in a safe environment with tracks over the 160 arces. Meet, interact and feed our animals- chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, pet dogs, alpacas, cows & bulls, Gus the donkey Ben our Snowy Mountains Brumby, Cadet the pony & Dusty the mini horse.
Children and Adults can collect fresh eggs daily also strawberries and herbs from our garden for cooking.
On a clear night see a million stars or take a torch lit walk in search of possums and owls. We are surrounded by our pristine high country, boasting exceptional views from many parts of the property. Watch birds, kangaroos and other wildlife in natural bushland from one of our walking or mountain bike tracks.
