Frankston is on the eastern shore of Port Phillip Bay about 40 kms south east of Melbourne. You will easily find Abbey Apartments on your left as you come into Frankston on the Nepean Highway.
The Standard Apartment is located on the ground floor and has a queen size bed in the master room and 2 single beds in the second room.
The Deluxe Apartment has a queen size bed in the master room and 2 single beds in the second room, as well as a new kitchen, bathroom and carpets.
Our fully self contained spacious 1st level apartment has a master bedroom with queen size bed and the second bedroom with 2 single beds and all linen and towels are provided. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen, lounge, dining area, washing machine and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
Accommodates from 1 to 4 guests and for an extra guest a fold out bed can be provided with linen at $25. Cots free of charge.
Wireless Internet is available for $5 per day and DVDs and videos are available on request.
The Mornington Peninsula is a unique maritime wine region, producing quality cool climate wines. Sample the region’s excellent food and wine at events such as the Pinot Noir Celebration in February, the Harvest to Table Festival in March, the Winter Wine Weekend in June or the Mornington Main Street Food and Wine and Performing Arts Festival in October.
The Frankston Pier, surrounded by landscaped gardens, fronting the wide waterway of Kananook Creek and the Landmark footbridge on the coast, is an ideal vantage point from which to enjoy the area. An elevated boardwalk extends along the foreshore from the pier down to the boat ramp at the base of Olivers Hill. Views across Port Phillip Bay and north along the coastal suburbs can be enjoyed from Olivers Hill.
Frankston has a number of attractive gardens and parks including Beauty Park with its lake and jetties, the George Pentland Botanical Gardens, Ballam Park which features BBQ areas, sporting ovals and a historic homestead, and the Pines Flora and Fauna reserve in Frankston North.
Sail the calm waters of the Bay, go fishing, swimming, rock climbing, stroll around the many art galleries, shops and gardens, wine and dine and enjoy the lively night life at the local clubs and pubs.
