  • "An amazing place to stay - didnt want to leave! We enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear creek and the dam, long walks with the dogs and sitting by the fire at night. A special haven to get away from it all, the large deck has a view to die for and it was just so special to sit back and soak up all the sounds of nature! "

  • "Tranquil, charming and scenic are only a few words to describe our stay at The Farm House. When we arrived at our destination, entered through the gates and travelled along the driveway to the house, we were captured and enlivened by the picturesque landscape and surroundings that unfolded before us. As we travelled further along we could see The Farm house standing splendidly on the hill overlooking the dams awaiting our arrival. This aged and beautifully renovated house is everything that we imagined in a 1920s Queenslander home. The large kitchen, old-style and quaint ornaments and furniture adorned the house and it was a pleasure to marvel and admire them. The huge deck was fantastic and we spent most of our day time reading, having our meals and enjoying the view from this part of the house. We enjoyed wandering around the property, having a campfire and investigating the creek. Fortunately we brought along our gumboots and made good use of them to investigate the creek. At night we enjoyed searching the sky for stars and then retreated afterwards to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. This property is charming and picturesque and would be a wonderful place for photography and visual artists to explore. I wish I had of brought my sketchbook. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Debbie "

  • "What a fabulous holiday for all of my family the children loved the dam with canoe, trampoline and swing, the dogs loved everything especially the cows! I loved the fact that everyone was happy and entertained and that i could relax with a book and enjoy the beautiful view. We had rain, wind and sunny days during our stay and were kept entertained no matter the weather. Lucky we packed the gumboots to enjoy exploring the creek and walk around admiring the beautiful property. Thanks again and we are already contemplating our next stay."

  • "This property was just what the Dr odered for our family. We roasted marshmellows, went bush walking, wondered around the whole property playing with our dogs (who were exhausted when we got home) we all found our own quiet spot to read in seclusion with no interuptions. We came home rejuvenated & have already rebooked for a later time."

  • "We have had the pleasure of a couple of visits to the Farm. With three boys and two dogs of varying ages there is something to do for them all. The tranquility and spectacular view both day and night are second to none. You would be doing yourself a dis service if you don't come and experience this amazing property for yourself. We look forward to a return visit very soon."

  • "We booked into the Farm house for 3 weeks at the end of January till February 2010. It was the end of my pregnancy and we wanted to relax and spend time with our two kids Aged 14 and 3. It was the best and most relaxing time together as a family. The dam is wonderful for swimming and plenty of outside things to do with the kids. The master bed is so comfy, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything required. We BBQ'd nearly every night and enjoyed seeing the kangaroos early mornings. I ended up being so relaxed that I gave birth to my 3rd child on a stormy night. So the place is extra special to us. I do plan to visit again and highly recommend it as a holiday house for all families."

  • "We just spent 3 days at The Farm House and would of liked to have stayed longer. The Farm House was more than what we were expecting and was beautiful, it was the perfect getaway for us because you can take the dog, it was very secluded and peaceful. We loved swimming in the spring fed dams and fresh water creeks and exploring the property with long walks and long lazy afternoons on the gorgeous deck watching the sun set and the wallabies come in. It was the first time our dog had seen cows and she was absolutely fascinated. I highly recommend The Farm House for anyone looking for some time out and some Rest and Relaxation, we will be back."

  • "I celebrated my 25th here for 2 nights and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it was by far not only the best weekend I've ever had but also the best birthday I've ever had. The property was fantastic and the house and deck area were incredible. My friends enjoyed the weekend as much as I did and we have already sung its praises to everyone we can. I highly recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a great time to just escape the realities of life and enjoy a life of relaxation and comfort. "

  • "We spent the QB long weekend and had a great time. House and property was great and we didn't see any other human beings for 3 days! Kids loved the creek and dams and got lots of exercise. Our Border Collie pretended to be farm dog for a few days. I don't think he wanted to come home. Thanks Marcia for having the house all ready for us late Friday"
