Serendipity at Dolphin Sands, Swansea is the perfect family holiday destination. This is a sensational beach holiday situated on 5 acres just 60 metres from your own stretch of secluded Nine Mile Beach. Dolphin Sands is 10 minutes from Swansea by car, or walk along the pristine beach with hardly a person in sight.

The beach house has some views of The Hazards and Maria Island. In addition to swimming, the area is perfect for cycling, fishing and boating. Its also the perfect location to explore the East Coast of Tasmania - Freycinet National Park, Wineglass Bay, wineries, and pristine beaches.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Serendipity is a fully furnished 3 bedroom beach house with fully equipped kitchen, separate dining, 3 bathrooms (including ensuite), separate living, balcony and downstairs TV/rumpus room.

Facilities cater for 6 - 2 queen beds, 2 singles. Quality bed linen and towels are supplied. There is a further single day bed in the downstairs rumpus room.

There is a dishwasher in the kitchen and separate laundry with dryer.

There is a bar-b-que, plenty of space for ball games and direct beach frontage.

There is also a table tennis table, a selection of books, family games and hammock for lazy days.

Please note that as Serendipity is our family beach-house, we are unable to accept back to back bookings.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay are accessible from Dolphin Sands and suitable day trips. The Wineglass Bay lookout has fabulous views of the beach. There are walks in the region including the National Park, the Hazards, Friendly Beaches and the Cape Tourville Lighthouse.

There are other wonderful bush walks including the Meetus and Lost Falls towards Lake Leake.

Swansea has a terrific selection of restuarants and cafes - all within 10 minutes of Serendipity, including Ebb, the Bark Mill, The Banc, Kates Berry Farm, The Duck Out and Piermont.

There are a range of local wineries on the East Coast including Coombend, Freycinet Vineyard, Springvale and Craigie Knowe. All offer cellar door tastings and sales at selected times.

Fishing and boating is available from Swansea into the Great Oyster Bay, Dolphin Sands to the Moulting Lagoon and at the end of the beach.
