The open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area offers a fully equipped kitchen, open fireplace, books, board games and ocean views. The sun room is a light filled, spacious, second living area featuring a mermaid picture window.
Situated on the beach road, it has two beautiful beaches and the tranquil river estuary within 3 minutes walk from the house. It is positioned on a large block of land with garden and bush areas where you can watch the kangaroos and bird life visit daily.
During the months of August through to November the annual whale migration can be watched from the lounge room and balcony, a truly spectacular experience!

We have just returned from a fabulous trip to Pambula Beach, made even more special by staying at Rutherglen. We walked in and immediately felt relaxed and at home. The views were fantastic, the open fire so cosy. Our daughter barely touched the normal IPads, DVD's and was happier outside in the garden watching for kangaroos or exploring. Great retro fitout but with all of the comforts too.

We recently spent the most superb week at 'Rutherglen' in Pambula. What a find!
Fantastic location, friendly visits from the local kangaroos, peaceful surrounds - perfect.
We loved the retro style of the property which is a part of what attracted us in the first place. 'Quirky' retro decor was great and brought back so many great memories from my childhood.
My partner and I don't do 'schmick', pristine, expensive decor and Rutherglen was perfect. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!

Rutherglen is a lovely place to stay with fantastic views and a cosy open fire amongst peaceful rural setting.
We also appreciated the new balcony to take in the spectacular view of the Ocean.
These is also plenty of room to accommodate 5 adults too.

stayed for ten days....wanted to stay ten more!,the open fire was very cosy & the view was beautiful. Our kids loved the place & wanted to live there.
We've stayed in most of the holiday properties at pambula beach but this one has been the one we've liked the most.Hang on a minute...maybe I should kept this a secret!

Our stay at Rutherglen was a pure delight! From the authentic 'retro' experience to the simple homely touches it felt like 'home' from the outset. Fantastic location just moments from the sea and the spectacular rivermouth it was easy to while away the hours listening to the sea, going for peaceful walks or just sitting by the open fire with a good book. It's not often that a holiday rental property has this much charm!

Rutherglen has lots of character and comfort. The views are brilliant with the ocean on one side and outback on the other.
House was clean and neat making it very comfortable. Beautiful!!!
