Description

San Juan surfers cottage is the essence of Byron Bay's surfing lifestyle, over 100 years old this beautiful rustic quaint cottage has a long history of surfing culture and what Byron bay is all about. San Juan is a place to really enjoy and relax with family or friends.

From it's teak floor boards to its rough sawn timber wall panels it is one of the first market gardener homes in Byron bay's rich volcanic soil precinct, located in a private lane it's fully secured yard is surrounded by tropical palms and Frangipani, hidden from the outside world you would not know you were located in the centre of town and so close to surfing all the beaches of Byron bay.

A short walk to all Byron has to offer, you can leave the car at home and just relax when at San Juan and when you want to enjoy a drink there is no need for a cab to bars or restaurants as its all in easy reach, there is the Green Garage cafe deli and mini market 150m from the house or the RSL club with fantastic cheap meals a short walk from San Juan. We are child and pet friendly with large secure private grounds for the kids to play.

Accommodation

Our accommodation sleeps four comfortably, there is a queen ensemble in the main bedroom and two singles in the second bedroom that make up a king ensemble. Ideally suited to a romantic getaway or a family, this is the ideal setup for a cosy intimate holiday, we do not suit large group booking's. The large landscaped garden is fully secure and we are pet friendly.

There is ample room in the living area to chill out and we have Pay TV on for those who love their sport or to keep the children amused whilst the adults take it easy. We also have free Wifi and free local telephone calls.
The house has a fully laundry facility and we keep a few bikes in the laundry for you to use cycling around town. A great family friendly holiday house perfect for you to sit back and unwind!

A perfect walking distance from the centre of Byron, but also with an excellent grocery store and cafe round the corner. Loved the surfy theme- a home from home. Highly recommended!"
