Description

A secluded nook in the Lower Hunter Valley offering the opportunity to escape busy schedules. Enjoy visits to the Broke and Pokolbin wineries and return to your cottage or house to a relaxing spa with a chilled glass of your favourite tipple or have a casual barbecue on the verandah overlooking the Yango Creek valley.

The Cottage has reverse cycle air conditioning as well as an open fireplace. There is a recently renovated kitchen and BBQ facilities for cooking. In addition to the king-sized bed there is room for up to two children in the cottage or the unexpected guest.

The homestead has three bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed. There is a shared bathroom with spa bath, as well as a queen sized sofa beds. There is a recently renovated kitchen with everything you need or a great BBQ on the balcony. Enjoy the winter in front of an open fire.

So get together with a group of friends and get away for a while.

Location

Drive to Wollombi - from Sydney use the Peats Ridge exit from the freeway, and the left exit onto George Downs drive and follow the signs to Wollombi. Turn left 100 metres past the Wollombi Tavern into Yango Creek Road, and travel 4.5 kms along an all weather road. Turn left onto the concrete drive for Willow Creek Estate.

Local Attractions - What to do

The local wineries as well as the many wineries of the Upper and Lower Hunter, horse riding, bike riding, visit a working alpaca farm, enjoy a visit to historical Wollombi township, or go bushwalking through the Yengo National Park. There are a couple of great restaurants and the local Wollombi Tavern for a meal.

All you need to do is bring your food and fine wines, as all linen is provided. The house is equipped with DVD, video and CD player and the cottage has DVD, video and CD facilities.
