An 1895 Australian country homestead, Wagon Wheels Country Retreat is set in the Illawarra escarpment surrounded on three sides by National Park and close to the ocean.

Premium holiday accommodation for all seasons in our homestead, lovely woodlands, rain forest, horses, birds, wild life, a private gate to picturesque Kelly's Falls 4 minutes walk away. Perfect for quiet bush walks and private picnics.

In spring or summer, cool off in the large in-ground pool and lie in the shade of huge, leafy trees or wander down the 160 foot long wisteria colonnade. Visit the beautiful beaches only 5 minutes drive away.

In autumn or winter, come and enjoy the sunny verandahs and roaring log fires. Get away from your busy work schedule and completely relax in a farm setting. Watch the animals wander around the eucalypt woodlands.

Wagon Wheels has a huge ballroom fully restored to original state with all modern conveniences, air-conditioning, TVs, DVDs, all view windows looking over the estate, circular drive with immense fountain and stone fish pond.

For some light activity, follow the winding lonesome trail to Kellys Falls, the jogging track or try the mini-gym. A unique stone access bridge and wrought iron gates give complete privacy and Wagon Wheels would suit film stars or just us ordinary folks needing a welcome break away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The property is an oasis in Suburbia set on the pristine escarpment.

Bald Hill 4 minutes away for hang gliding and vistas of glorious beaches all the way to Wollongong.

Sea Cliff Bridge 15 minutes and walk across it looking down at the ocean.

Hindu Temple visit 2 minutes.

Bush walk from property via Princess Marina track to the ocean.

Horse riding at Otford Valley riding school.
