Local Attractions

Torquay is famous for its surf beaches, including the spectacular Bells Beach. It also has an expansive protected front beach, which is ideal for families. The grassed foreshore reserve has picnic/BBQ facilities and shady trees.
Torquay has many attractions beyond the beach, including Surfworld Museum, Tigermoth World, Quicksilver/Ripcurl retail and factory outlets.
For the sporty there is Torquay Golf Course, several tennis clubs, Go Ride a Wave learn to surf school. To relax there are wineries near Torquay and on the Bellarine Peninsula.
