The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and comfortably accomodates 8 people.
There are 2 queen size beds and 2 double bunks.
There is a large lounge and dining room. The majority of rooms have ocean views.

An International standard golf course is a 5 min drive.
Spend a day picnicing at the local wineries.
For the kids there are safe and patrolled swimming beaches. A short walk to the beach cafe overlooking miles of uninterupted surfing beach and sand dunes.

What a lovely place to welcome the new year! Ocean Cottage is a gem in the Port Stephens area. The place is so tranquil and is an idyllic beach house.The house is very well equipped with all our cooking and entertainment needs. The open ocean view is unbeatable. The house is an easy walk to the beautiful Birubi Beach. the rock pools outside of the house provided endless treasure hunt opportunities for the kids. We found hermit crabs, fish, star fish, even sting ray around the rock ledges. The small inlets are great places for the kids to play in the sand and hunt for sea creatures. Watching the tide rise and fall, the waves pound against the rocks and the sky changes in colour from our living room are the pure form of enjoyment. We always end our day watching the sunset from the lawn. Thank you for the lovely holiday house!

This is the second time my wife and I traveled to Australia from the US. This was a beautiful and comfortable home right on the shore. A much better experience than staying in hotels as we have done before. Quiet and serene with the sound of the ocean as a back round. Close to Nelson Bay or Newcastle if you want shopping and restaurants for a day. We'll be back to Ocean Cottage some day!

" Rarely do things measure up to your expectations but Ocean Cottage does.The place has a magical feel and it is amazing to sit back and watch the various phases of the ocean. I found myself doing this for hours. I would recommend this gorgeous place to anyone but most especially to anyone seeking peace.A place as close to the ocean as is possible.We'll be back."

Ocean Cottage is in a fantastic location - our family loved our stay there. The children loved the rock pools, the beach and their bunk beds! We enjoyed the views from the lounge and watching the pods of dolphins swimming past.
