VAINUI is a premium luxury lakefront property located in a secluded and sheltered bay of Smiths Lake, about 3 hours from Sydney. Smiths Lake is one of the three lakes that comprise The Lakes District. Step directly from the front of the house to little lakeside beaches that offer safe bathing and water sports. VAINUI offers absolute privacy and tranquility, nestled between lofty gums that are alive with birdlife.

Facilities

VAINUI is a four bedroom and two bathroom architect designed home with lofty ceilings and stunning views. It comfortably accommodates 8 adults. Brand new comfortable beds make sleeping-in a pure pleasure. The master bedroom on the upper level features a king size bed, large walk-in robe and ensuite bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle. A state of the art entertainment system in the open plan living/dining area and a large modern and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and gas appliances are also on the upper level. The lower level features three double bedrooms (two bedrooms with queen beds, and one with two singles) bathroom, laundry and a living area with fax, answering machine and computer/internet facilities. Local calls can be made and incoming calls can be received. On the verandah you will find a BBQ and outdoor setting for taking in the glorious views. The village of Smiths Lake provides all day-to-day requirements, with an excellent butcher, baker, grocery/corner store, takeaway and liquor store. The popular Frothy Coffee Boathouse is down the road, where you can hire a boat or enjoy a coffee or lunch. There is also a playground for children. Forster has many and varied restaurants and is only a 20 minute drive down The Lakes Way.

Wind down instructions

Pop the ‘wind-down’ CD in the CD player, open a good bottle of wine and watch the sun disappearing behind the lake. The local butcher supplies great steaks for the BBQ. You can decide if you would like to share your meat with the kookaburras! On a rainy day, pop a DVD or video into the entertainment system or enjoy one of the many books or magazines you’ll find on the shelves. Start your day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee from the gourmet coffee maker, then take a refreshing swim in the lake from the beach at your doorstep. The lake beach is ideal for children, as the water is shallow and calm. A golf course is only minutes down the road and the closest ocean beach is only a few yards further. Cellito Beach is a natural beauty that is accessed by a short boardwalk through rainforest. Blueys, Elizabeth and Boomerang Beaches, as well as Seal Rocks are minutes drive away. Retreat, relax, refresh, rejuvenate, and simply enjoy beautiful VAINUI.
