Cafes, restaurants and both the Moonta Bay & Port Hughes jetties are within easy walking distance or use the 2 bicycles at TIPARA to explore this wonderful area!

Guests enjoy exclusive use of the in ground swimming pool (9 by 3 metres), which is located in a walled courtyard and has sea views even as you swim! There is a BBQ, outside furniture & fish cleaning sink.

The dining area, with a polished concrete floor, enjoys sea, pool & courtyard views. It really feels like you are outside , but with the comfort of inside living!

Bathroom facilities are located conveniently between the 2 large bedrooms (1 queen, 2 king singles), with the compact laundry, separate toilet and additional basin area hidden away. All linen, towels & beach towels are supplied.

The living / kitchen area is fully equipped, has a timber floor and large windows to capture breathtaking views. The sound system (CD, DVD & TV) with surround sound, is outstanding.

Ducted r/c airconditioning and ceiling fans in every room ensures your total comfort.

Stay 2 or more nights and enjoy a bottle of Clare Valley wine.

TIPARA is an easy 1 3/4 hour drive north west of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.

TIPARA is located at 7 Tipara Court, Moonta Bay.

Travel through the main street of Moonta, heading for the Moonta Bay jetty. When you have almost reached the ocean, turn left at Coast road. Here, there is a large directional sign to \"Port Hughes\". Take the 7th road on the right, which is Gulf Street. Cross over Trelawney Street and this will take you into Tipara Court, which is a \"No Through Road\".

ATTRACTIONS

Moonta Bay is ideal for bike riding. Use the bikes & helmets provided at TIPARA to leisurely explore the area.
Walk along the beach to the Moonta Bay jetty and enjoy a meal or coffee at a beachside cafe or restaurant.
For the more enthusiastic , walk to the Port Hughes jetty, linger at the cafe or tavern and then venture along the pristine, long and sandy Port Hughes beach. Here, you will marvel at the solitude of this beautiful coastline.
Marvel at the renowned Moonta Bay sunsets.
Bring your own boat or arrange a fishing charter.
For fishing enthusiasts, there are 2 jetties and a modern all weather boat ramp at Port Hughes.
In the mid 1800\'s Moonta\'s reputation was one of the richest copper mines in Australia, with most of the mining undertaken by industrious Cornish miners. Remains of this mining era are everywhere, and there is even a tourist train and underground mine to explore!
Visit the Moonta Trust Museum, admire the quaint miner\'s cottages and the impressive heritage buildings.
Meander throught the main street of Moonta, with antique, secondhand and craft shops and enjoy a traditional cornish pasty!
The nearby township of Kadina and Wallaroo are a 15 minute drive. Prepare to be astounded at the development of the Wallaroo Marina, high rise apartments, cafes and trendy housing.
A trip to the \"Dunes\"development and the proposed \"Greg Norman Golf Course\" at Port Hughes is also a must. Blocks continue to sell rapidly!
Discover the spectacular scenery of Innes National Park, located at the bottom end of Yorke Peninsula.
