Adams Peak Retreat is set on a stunning 100 acre property and is the perfect location for your stay in the Hunter Valley. The Retreat features a refreshing swimming pool, a 9 hole country golf course, a separate large entertainment area "The Barn", a selection of great walking and running tracks and some of the most breathtaking views you will see in the Hunter Valley. Adams Peak Retreat consists of seven individual suites providing comfortable accommodation for 2 to 20 guests.

The Retreat is run as beautiful country guesthouse through the week if it is not hosting a conference and at weekends it is available as an exclusive self contained property for large groups of up to 20 guests. It can also be split into two discreet fully self-contained areas. The Garden Quarters which accommodates 3-8 guests and the Valley View Quarters which can accommodate 5-12 guests. Individual Suites may be available on request

All suites have a TV and a DVD and free Wi Fi. Most rooms have their own terrace with a fantastic view overlooking vineyards all the way to Yellow Rock and the Brokenback Range whilst others have a view of the gardens across to the golf course. Each has a private entrance, a small sun room, refrigerator plus tea and coffee making facilities and ceiling fans. There is complimentary wireless broadband provided for those needing to keep in touch with the outside world. All beds have lovely freshly laundered linen. Stroll around our beautiful 100 acre property. Work your golf swing on our country golf course, play to the flag course (the greens are still under construction), do a few laps in the refreshing pool, take a walk up to the top block at the base of the BrokenBack Rangers or just visit the wonderful boutique wineries and restaurants that are just minutes away

In the morning you can enjoy preparing your breakfast or if you want to take it easy we can arrange for our chef to arrive and cook up a hearty breakfast using produce from our own garden and serving up a big plate of fresh eggs, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms ($25 per person). If you have a special occasion or cant be bothered cooking, our chef is available to provide you with anything from gourmet BBQ's, tapas, canapés to a fine dining menu. We can also dress "The Barn" for special occasions and provide wonderful Birthday or event cakes.

In the evening you can enjoy sitting around the open fire pit outside under the stars enjoying a glass of whatever you purchased that day at the surrounding wineries (it’s amazing how many stars there are out there without any street lights!).

EXCLUSIVE USE - Includes both Garden Quarters and Valley View Quarters
The Retreat can be booked for exclusive use for your group with your own private golf course, swimming pool, use of "The Barn" and the large comfortable lounge area with big screen TV, dining room with wood fire and pianola and use of the two kitchens and large BBQ areas. The Retreat can accommodate 14-18 guests but if your group is larger, we can place single beds in some of the suites or convert the large lounge to accommodate more guests.

VALLEY VIEW QUARTERS - Our Valley View Quarters provides fully self contained accommodation for up to 12 guests. Accommodation consists of 5 suites, the Pool Suite which has a queen bed and a single bed plus en-suite accommodating up to 3 guests and opens out to a private patio area next to the swimming pool. Our Spa suite, which is a larger suite and has a two person spa in the bedroom as well as a separate en-suite with shower. Our three Valley View Suites all have queen beds and an en-suite plus a small sunroom. The Valley view quarters also houses the large kitchen, dining room with wood burning fire and lounge room. If your group is larger, we can place single beds in some of the suites or convert the large lounge to accommodate more guests.

GARDEN QUARTERS
Our Garden Quarters provides self contained accommodation for up to 8 adults. The first room has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom and small sunroom. The second room has a queen bed and two single beds (can be made into another queen) and the third room contains a queen size sofa bed and bathroom. This room also has a small self contained kitchen, dining area, and opens to a courtyard garden with BBQ and outdoor seating.

Valley View Quarters and Garden View Quarters guests share the use of the pool, golf course and grounds.

*Garden View Quarters Suite 1 - 2 rooms consisting of queen bed and two singles in one room and queen sofa bed and kitchen, dining, bathroom and courtyard.
*Garden View Quarters Suite 2 - Can open into suite 1 and has queen bed and en-suite plus sun room at entrance
*Valley View Quarters Suite 3 - Queen bed and en-suite and separate Spa bath in bedroom plus sun room at entrance
*Valley View Quarters Suite 4 - Queen bed and en-suite plus sun room at entrance
*Valley View Quarters Suite 5 - Queen bed and en-suite plus sun room at entrance
*Valley View Quarters Suite 6 - Queen bed and en-suite plus sun room at entrance
*Valley View Quarters Suite 7 - Queen bed and en-suite plus single bed in sun room

WEEKEND TARIFF

EXCLUSIVE USE OF ADAMS PEAK RETREAT
The retreat is available for the exclusive use . The rate is $3300 for two night stay or $2800 for a one night stay. This gives a group of up to 17 guests the exclusive use of the kitchen, BBQ facilities, lounge and dining areas plus pool and golf course Extra guests are charged at $50 per person per night.

VALLEY VIEW QUARTERS 5-12 guests
The rate is $2200 for up to 10 guests for a two night stay. Extra guests are $50 per person per night. One night stays available on request.

GARDEN QUARTERS - 3-8 guests
The rate is is $880 for up to 4 guests. Extra guests are $50 per person per night. One night stays available on request.

INDIVIDUAL SUITES - Subject to availability
$440 For a two night stay for two guests, extra guests are charged at $75 per adult or $60 per child per night

* A Lazy afternoon checkout may be available at $120 per stay, allowing you to use the property on the day of departure until 5pm. (subject to availability)
* An early check in of 12pm may be available for $50 per stay (subject to availability)

MID WEEK RATES (2 nights)
*Midweek rates are charged at 28% discount off the weekend tariff.

ONE NIGHT WEEKEND or MIDWEEK BOOKINGS
*One night bookings are available. Please contact us for a quote.

WEEKLY RATES AND LONGER STAYS
* Discounts are available on stays of 5 nights and over, please contact us for a quote.

OTHER CHARGES
* A deposit of 50% of the total rate is required by credit card to secure the booking. A $300 holding deposit can hold the property for 14 days if you need to collect payment from other guests.
* The outstanding balance is due 14 days before your arrival date.
* The guest responsible for the booking must register with Events in the Vines, by phoning the office, at least 24hrs before check in, to provide their credit card details, which may be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to): telephone charges on the house landline, any breakages or damage incurred during your stay, or cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning.
* Weekend Public Holiday bookings must be for a minimum of 12 or more guests and are a minimum 3 night stay at full weekend rate.
* Easter, Christmas and New Year are a 3-4 night stay and charged at full weekend rate.
