A clear 180 degree view across the Coral Sea, towards Low Isles, Snapper Island and the Daintree Rainforest Mountains is viewed from its elevated northerly aspect. Designed by renowned architect Alex Gencur, this striking home nestles into its lightly steeped hillside position.
Designed to inhale its tropical surrounds, the home consists of three pavilions connected by walkways. An abundance of bi-fold doors, louvers and sheltered verandahs allow natural airflow and ocean views.
Entering through the gated, private, walled entrance, into a landscape of tropical gardens you come into the main, split level, living pavilion. A semi professional kitchen is well equipped and comes with extra cool room and refrigeration fro those who like to entertain.
A mezzanine level accessed by an elegant curved staircase leads to a dining level with seating for 8. A graceful, light room to enjoy your meals, overlooking the pool, garden and towards the Coral Sea.
Another curved staircase, leads down to the living area with lounge and entertainment system. Bi-fold doors open to a large decked pool area with sun lounges, outdoor dining and BBQ. The 15m saltwater pool is surrounded by glass fencing ensuring views are uninhibited.
Along a decked undercover path you enter a second living room capturing views like no other in Port Douglas. Shuttered bi-fold doors open wide to capture the blue of the Coral Sea. This easy space is equipped with lounge and entertainment system and a wrap around verandah is perfect to sit and watch the boats come and go. Upstairs, a spacious master suite includes walk in robe and bathroom with wet shower. The view from here is like no other to be found.
The remiaining pavilion is located towards the front. Encompassing three bedrooms, one with ensuite and the other family bathroom includes a traditional roll top bath.
