Situated in the tranquil "Town of Seaside" in beachside Marcoola, Cockles Beach House is perfect for that extended get away. Enjoy the privacy of your own pool, take a gentle walk to the beach or just sit and relax in the outdoor area.

Close to all amenities

The beach, shops (including "Cucini's" restaurant & Mezz Bar) and a local convenience store are within an easy walk and the major shopping centres at Pacific Paradise and Coolum a short drive away.

Whether you want to swim, play golf, lawn bowl, fish or just relax, the "Town of Seaside" is a relaxed hideaway. Its central location, close to the airport, is halfway between Caloundra and Noosa, making it the perfect base to explore all the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

The pool was such a treat and the day bed was the perfect place to relax and watch the kids in the pool!   • "A true home away from home - one of the best retreats we have ever experienced other than Puamoana Condominiums in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. The owners have done an excellent job in providing a place with all the neccessary supplements to enjoy an extended stay at the beach including your own private pool and BBQ. We got to know some locals, caught some fish at the beach and fed the ducks by the pond. The nature walk was a nice break when returning from the beach on a warm afternoon. Having been Captain at Marcoola SLSC back in 1974 it was amazing how this area has progressed. On a scale of 1 to 10 - we gave it a 9.5 - only detriment was 2 days of patchy rain when we stayed in and read. "

  • "Cockles is a lovely house, that is extremely well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing break. The pool is nice, if a little cool but not a problem on a hot day. The patio and verandah are fully enclosed making it safe for small children. We had a great time in this house and with a beautiful beach 10 minutes walk away this is a perfect holiday home!"

It rained a bit while we were there, but there were heaps of boardgames in the cupboard to entertain the kids, not forgeting the playstation!. Large rooms, excellent well equipped kitchen to cook in. The pool was the highlight for us all. Close to everything, all you could ask for...we will be back Colleen Holt"
