Alonga is the ideal holiday base from which to explore and OBSERVE our Kangaroo's that inhabit the small island township Better than a roo zoo experience the best that Shoalhaven City has to offer.movies and restaurants. Sussex Inlet is a beautiful little Shoalhaven town known locally as "The Island Township" a leisurely 2 1/2 hour drive from Sydney.
To find us, turn off the Princess Highway 32 km south of Nowra at the Sussex Inlet signpost and proceed 13 km along second turn left after caltex servo wunda ave Alonga cottages at end of street..
You'll find many waterways to explore as Sussex Inlet is situated on a river connecting St Georges Basin to the open sea. The canals and creeks that branch from the inlet make it an ideal spot for boating activities and water sports of all types.
Sussex is renowned for it's Kangaroo,s that inhabit this little peice of paradise along great fishing and prawning.
Nearby, unspoilt surf beaches and lakes are perfect for the keen swimmer and surfer while the nearby State Forests and National Parks have an abundant bird and wildlife population for nature lovers.
