Melbourne Holiday Apartments - City Docklands (1) is perfect for families or friends visiting Melbourne. There are fantastic shops, restaurants, cafes, entertainment and public transport options underneath you and all around you. This is a very exciting brand new Melbourne tourist precinct, just 3 mins by free city circle tram or free tourist bus to the Melbourne city centre.
From your bedrooms, living room, and large private balcony, you will enjoy city views and views of the magnificent Southern Star Observation Wheel. You also look down on all the activity of Star Circus and the Harbour Town cafes, shops, etc. Please note that the wheel will not be operating until late 2010.
This modern, 2-bedroom, fourth floor, corner apartment has lift access and is surprisingly quiet considering its above the new Harbour Town retail shopping precinct at Waterfront City, Melbourne Docklands. Its just 200 metres from the Victoria Harbour New Quay waterfront promenade with its harbourside restaurants and regular entertainment. Wonderland Park is also fantastic for the kids, with carnival rides and an ice skating rink. The free tram and free tourist bus pick up right outside your door and gets you in to the Melbourne city centre in just 3 short minutes. Or, if you prefer, you can very easily walk to Etihad Stadium, Southern Cross Station and the CBD.
The apartment itself has 2 bedrooms, one central bathroom with shower over bath and laundry facilities, including washing machine and clothes dryer. The kitchen overlooks the open-plan living/dining area and is fully-equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove/oven and a microwave oven. The living/dining area is stylishly furnished and contains an LCD television and Bose surround sound lifestyle system. Both bedrooms have city views, built-in wardrobes, fresh air and lots of natural light.
We charge per apartment, not per person.
