Seasong Cottage, Mystery Bay has an open plan lounge, dining & kitchen area, one bedroom downstairs (two single beds), toilet, bathroom (shower & spa bath) and laundry with washer & dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms with queen-size beds, bedside tables with clock radio/alarm and individual reading lamps. There is hanging space for clothes and large chests of drawers. Both upstairs bedrooms have ceiling fans and screened windows to allow gentle cooling breezes. The lounge area downstairs includes DVD player and TV, FM Tuner/amplifier with iPod input and a selection of books, magazines, board games and DVDs for your enjoyment. Seasong Cottage is a PET-FREE environment ie: Pets are not permitted inside or outside the house as it backs onto the Eurobodalla National Park.
The paved outdoor entertaining area includes a table and chairs, a Weber BBQ and lighting for evening use. The large grassed areas at the front and rear of the house are suitable for outdoor recreation such as throwing a frisbee or playing cricket.
RATES
PEAK SEASON (December - January) $1155 per week. In January the house is only available from Saturday afternoon (2pm check in) to Saturday morning (10 am check out).
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS $693/week Minimum booking 3 nights. (ACT, NSW & VIC Gazetted School Holidays). BOOKINGS OF LESS THAN 7 NIGHTS ATTRACT AN ADDITIONAL $60 CLEANING FEE.
OFF-PEAK $525/week. Minimum booking 3 nights. BOOKINGS OF LESS THAN 7 NIGHTS ATTRACT AN ADDITIONAL $60 CLEANING FEE. Checkin and Checkout times are set to allow access for professional cleaning between bookings. Longer stays by arrangement, especially at offpeak times of the year.
The North End of Mystery Bay has offshore rock bars that create sheltered swimming beaches at high tide and small rock pools at low tide. The absence of waves and the gentle slope of the bottom means this is suitable for supervised young children and less adventurous adults.
The middle of Mystery Bay is more exposed, waves break over rock bars and the water is a little deeper, perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving. There are picnic tables and lawns run down to the the sandy beach. At the South end of the Bay is a boat ramp and a sheltered launch site for boats and surf skis. There are electric barbeques, public toilets and a gazebo for visitors.
For more seclusion and wild surf, visit the nearby 1080 beach which has Southerly exposure towards Bermagui. At Narooma there is a patrolled surf beach.
The EUROBODALLA NATURE COAST runs from Ulladulla to Bermagui. Short day trips take you to small historic villages like Central Tilba, where you can glimpse early settlements on the coast. Or go to larger towns such as Narooma, Bermagui or Moruya for excellent seafood restaurants or casual club meals. The whole area is great for outdoor activities such as fishing, diving, boating and surf-skiing. There are chartered cruises around inland waters, such as Wagonga Inlet, or to Montague Island to view the seals, dolphins and whales. For bush-walkers and cyclists there are trails and picnic spots throughout the National Parks and around the shores of lakes.
Golfers are welcomed at the Narooma Golf Club which is famous for its cliff-top greens. Fish are abundant in the ocean, estuaries or fresh-water streams and lakes.
