Thanks for your interest in Honeyeaters.
We hope you'll love it's original 60's character
and close proximity to the beach, as much as we do.
Honeyeaters is a family beach house, managed directly by us, the owners. We value the good reputation we've built up with our guests, over the past eleven years.
QUICK INFO
Honeyeaters is a peaceful retreat for 1 or 2
people or can accommodate a group of up to 6.
With your comfort and care of the property in
mind, the maximum booking for adults is 4.
BYO Bed Linen.
Children are welcome - the property is partially fenced.
No smoking inside.
All fishing/sports equipment to be kept outside.
No cats, dogs or yetis. Goldfish o.k.
Weekends,Weekly and Mid Week 4 nights bookings
during Low and Shoulder Season available.
Minimum of 7 nights weekly bookings during
Peak Season available.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
If you've never been to the Jervis Bay Marine Park area before, you're in for a treat. JB is well known and loved for it's abundance of natural beauty and diversity.
The local area is quiet and friendly.
The beach is a 5 min. stroll away down a beautiful bush track,close enough to hear the waves and smell the salty air.....
THE HOUSE
The house is a light, bright, three bedroom property, set on a large corner block within a beautiful native garden.
A mixture of mid century and arts and crafts furnishings and an interesting collection of original artworks by local and Sydney artists, gives Honeyeaters a character all its own.
Furnishings are clean and comfortable.
To enhance the simplicity of the relaxed 60's design, some improvements have been made.
The installation of new louvres and glass doors, ceiling and floor fans, gas heating and instantaneous gas hot water, ensures the house is light and breezy in summer and warm and cozy in winter.
Care has been taken to recycle original materials,
creating new timber bench tops and storage.
The open plan living, kitchen and dining areas are well furnished, uncluttered and overlook the private, native garden.
The adjoining deck is a great spot to laze on around on, day or night. Enjoy the flowering native plants, birdlife, a meal, a book, a drink and some stargazing.
TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS
You have a choice of two comfy queen bedrooms, one with garden views. Electric blankets, doonas, pillows, spare blankets and mattress protectors are provided. Both rooms have bedside tables, reading lamps, storage, fans and fly screens.
ONE SINGLES BEDROOM
The Bunk room contains two sets of bunks, sleeping up to four singles. This room overlooks the front garden and is ideal for children. There is a light dimmer, fairy lights, electric floor fan and screens. Bedding as per above except electric blankets. Storage, games and books are provided.
LIVING
Cosy gas heater, overhead fan, sliding glass doors to deck and garden. Screens. Comfortable 70's Parker sofa and armchairs, reading lamps, books, magazines, games, LCD TV, DVD/CD/Radio, DVDs.
DINING
Comfortable Arts and Crafts dining setting overlooking the garden.Large outdoor dining table.
Outdoor chairs stored in laundry.
KITCHEN
Electric freestanding oven/stove, microwave, fridge,
espresso coffee pot, milkshake maker, toaster & jug.
Plenty of bench and storage space to have fun cooking.
Good supply of cooking equipment and table ware.
Staples such as tea, sugar, cooking oils etc. are stocked. You're welcome to use these and replenish for the next guests.
You are also welcome to pick some fresh herbs from the garden; rosemary, oregano and lemon grass to cook up in the kitchen or on the BBQ.

LAUNDRY
Second toilet. Large washing machine, vacuum cleaner, cleaning equipment and cleaning products are provided. Clothes lines located either sides of garage, pegs supplied.
BATHROOM
Updated with new tiling and vanity unit, 2010.
Generous full sized bath -
great for young ones and tired adults.
Overhead shower - instantaneous gas hot water.
Vanity unit, mirrored shaving cabinet, toilet.
Floor to ceiling louvres for light and ventilation with views of the back garden.
Lots of hanging space for the beach towels.
THE GARDEN
The front garden is planted with flowering natives, offering peace and privacy and a great spot for children to explore. You can enjoy watching the antics of the resident wattle birds and parrots from the deck, or take the sun lounges down into the garden for a closer view of the smaller birds, butterflies and lizards living there.
The large rear garden is shaded by Scribbly Gums, a Port Jackson Fig and more flowering natives - home to the wattle birds, visiting parrots, kookaburras, black cockatoos, fruit bats and possums, to name a few.
The garden has enough open space for children to run around and feel free and for adults to relax or join in.
There is a gas BBQ, outdoor dining furniture, an outdoor shower and for the little ones, two swings.
SUPPLIES
Shops are a five minute drive away at Callala Bay.
IGA Supermarket, Bottle Shop, Newsagent, Chemist, Fast Food, Video Shop etc.
CARE OF PROPERTY
Cleaning charge is between $40 - $60 per booking.
RESERVATIONS
We require a minimum of one weeks notice.
