The best thing about this property is it is a real family home less than 20 minutes by public transport to the Melbourne CBD! With ample living areas and a secure enclosed rear yard this property really is the best choice in self contained accommodation for your family.

Garden City started life in the 1920's as a planned "garden suburb" similar to those built in Britain a few years earlier during the Garden City Movement. It comprises semi-attached double and single -storey houses arranged around a series of public open spaces in a distorted Beaux-Arts layout.

That means the Port Haven is surrounded by some fantastic parks where you and your family can enjoy outdoor activities or take a short walk or drive to the sandy beach and enjoy swimming in Port Phillip Bay.

Open the front door to the solid brick home into the comfortable and stylishly furnished living room and enjoy a large TV and comfortable couches next to the gas fire.
The two bedrooms both with built in wardrobes share a functional central bathroom and offer a flexible bedding arrangement with 1 queen bed and a king bed which can also be configured as 2 singles. Top quality bedding ensures a comfortable night sleep.

A large dining area is adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen and this leads to a seperate laundry/utility room with washing machine and dryer. A second toilet off the laundry is a handy extra.

The rear yard is a spacious secure environment for children and pet guests and a great place to enjoy a BBQ. There is also off street parking for 2 vehicles.

Your fully catered stay includes broadband internet, weekly servicing for stays of 8 nights or longer, quality linen and towels, off street parking and a welcoming pack of luxurious toiletries and frequently used household consumables.

Minimum Stays:
We have a 5 night minimum for bookings made 1 month or more in advance and we will accept stays of 3 or 4 nights at our discretion within the month or if they join directly to another booking leaving no gaps in our calendar. Some peak periods attract longer minimum stays:
Spring Racing Carnival/Melbourne Cup: 7 nights
Christmas/New Year: 7 nights
Australian Open Tennis 2013: 7 nights
