150 metres from Safe Patrolled Beach, with clear sand for 2.5 kms. excellent for beach walks. Great South West Walk at your door for those keen hikers and bushwalkers.
Walk the coastal cliffs and check out the Seal Colony located 1/2 hr walk from kiosk, with the option to continue all the way to the Blowholes and Petrified Forest, which marks the begining of Discovery Bay, with Sandy Beaches that rolls all the way to the S.A. Border.
Portland located just 18km's away with excellent history and coastline just waiting to be explored. Natural deep sea Harbour with ships at berth almost at an arm's reach.
Loads of great shops and cafe where you can watch the happening in the harbour, be it the Cray fisherman coming home, trawlers unloading, the Tuna boats chasing the Big One, or the Tugs shuffling the ships around within the Harbour. Fantastic insight for adults and children alike.

Great South West Walk

250km's of bushwalking and beach trails. It tranverses through National, State and Coastal Parks, and State Forests. The Great South West Walk circles it's way around from Portland along the coast to Nelson in South Australia, then inland following the Glenelg River and bush trails back to Portland. There are campsite along the way. All with toilets, cleared tent sites and provision for cooking. You can pick up the track at any location and do any distanct you like. The Apartments are cool and breezy in Summer, but also warm and cosy in Winter. We provid books and puzzle for the kids, and a range of dvd for all ages. Cape Bridgewater provides the perfect location and opportunity to just relax or catch up with Family and Friends. Very quiet area with only the rolling ocean to hear at nightime. Life is so busy that you find yourself not having time to relax and enjoy the environment. Now you will have the time and opportunity. You'll be amazed just how relaxing life can be. Try it for yourself!!!
