For your exclusive use Historic Hampden Cottage accommodation is unique,built in 1880 this charming luxury two bedroom cottage is beautifully restored for couples to enjoy a private relaxing stay. Sitting on over two acres and adjacent to Kangaroo River nature reserve.

Quality cotton linen and fluffy towels are supplied, a country sized breakfast basket, tea and fresh plunger coffee at no extra charge. Guests will find lots of little extras to make their stay special. Relax in the large two person spa with picture windows opening onto the cottage garden and it's abundant bird life. The two large queen size bedrooms have beautifully handcrafted Australian hardwood furniture with quality bedding, there is a full kitchen, log fire with plenty of firewood, tv, video, cd player, dvd player, bbq, air cond. A special private place for a romantic getaway or to share with friends.

maintained to a high standard.

Let nature greet you in many ways at the cottage, from our wild life visitors in the garden to our range of Ecossential Elements personal toiletries enriched with organic aloe vera, chamomile and rosemary.

$50.00 extra guest per night.

Midweek (Monday - Thursday)two guests
$195 per night.
Weekly rate: $1365 two guest. Extra guest $150
Champagne and chocolates or wine and cheese
platter can be arranged with log fire lit, cottage

Located on the northern side of the Historic Hampden Bridge just 2 klms, an easy stroll into the village where you will find the Friendly Inn, restaurants and shops, or a great cafe for morning brunch. We also have cafe Sauce close by for a great coffee and lunches.
Kangaroo valley is an ideal base for day trips be it to the beach and south coast for a spot of dolphin, or whale watching or to the southern highlands on a wine tasting adventure. Just two hours from Sydney or Canberra. A great spot to have a weekend or midweek break, there is plenty to see and do in Kangaroo Valley.

Local Attractions

For overseas visitors we have a wonderful early morning wild life guided or self guided tour by kayak or canoe. A must if you would like to see some of our local furry and feathered friends in their natural habitat or you may wish to go bush walking or horse riding.or cycle into the village. We can also arrange for an in house massage or a game of golf.
