PJs Underground is an amazing underground B&B and self contained Underground cottage found in the pioneering township of White Cliffs which is located on the edg of the desert 255km north - east of Broken Hill.
White Cliffs was the first commercial opal field of Australia way back in the 1890's and soon the miners found themselves living underground in their cool mines in the constant 22 degrees temperature after a hard days work!

If you have ever wondered just what living underground is like, come and experience subteranean existence at PJ's Underground B&B. Offering AAAT 3.5 star Bed & Breakfast accommodation for up to twenty one visitors in 6 guest rooms for discerning customers who seek to be away from the rush of coaches and tour groups our attractively renovated old mines in historic Turleys Hill will help you find out just what living underground is all about!!

Hosts, Peter, Joanne and Kaija Pedler live only minutes away in the dugout next door, so we are just a cooee away to help enjoy visitors the unique underground lifestyle.

With 360 degree views for 50 kms from bush garden, kangaroo and emu moving through the saltbush and bare gibber plains stretching to the horizon, and eagles soaring over your bedroom roof, we've decided to let nature take over and technology take the back door. So you will find perfect peace - no televisions blaring in the background, no thumping music - just nature and you. Slow down, and spend a great afternoon fossicking for a piece of elusive opal on the old mining field, and then come home and soak in the spa. ( If you do need to sneak back to technology just a little bit, collect your email using our guest office facilities)
