'From the chairs placed under the trees to the plentiful matches exactly where you need them! Life at Little Pig Creek

Whilst staying at LPC you can choose to be totally home based with breakfast on the deck, lie on the grass under a tree, spend hours watching the birds, enjoy the wonderful view of Mount Contemplation through the huge picture windows or just laze around all day. For winter share a steamy bath together, curl up in front of the wood fire with a bottle of red and enjoy the music collection or a home movie.

If you want to venture out you can walk down the road for brunch or have a romantic dinner out. Get back to nature with a paddle on the river or a horse ride. Grab the bush walk guide from the house and set out to explore on foot.

For the historically minded walk next door to explore the old cemetery or take a stroll though the village to see the national trust listed buildings or the Pioneer museum.

  • "An oasis that is a delight for the senses and rest for the soul. Thoroughly recommended if you need to recharge and reconnect. The house and garden are an amazing experience on their own and I guarantee you will love your visit. Tranquil and inspiring. "

  • "We stayed at little pig creek for 8 days with our 15 month old. From the minute we walked it we were amazed. The house is gorgeous and Loo made sure that all the little things were taken care of. It was a very relaxing place and we were sad to leave. We will be back I am sure."

  • "Loved this place, funky furnishings, great garden. Personal touches everywhere. Plenty of space, both inside and out. Recommended."

  • "What can I say that hasn't already been written so well? LPC was "just what the doctor ordered". welcoming, comfortable, relaxing, inspiring, poignant and just built so bloomin' well !!!(including the garden) a labour of love close to nature, spacious, the real deal.... LPG is not a corporate, vanilla experience, it is not the short cut option, you need 2 day minimum .... we realised we needed at least 4 or 5 days to really fall under it's spell... we'll be back."

  • "We really enjoyed our time at Little Pig Creek. It's a great place to relax and unwind with many little spots to just chill out around teh garden and also inside. The decor is amazing with lots of little details and surprises around the place. The fire and day bed were excellent and the claw foot bath was divine! The only (really minor) thing to consider is it has great facilities to cook up a storm but no dishwasher. Washing dishes is the last thing we want to do on holdays so we just ate cheese and biscuits each night."

  • "This is a very special place. Every now and then you come across a gem of a holiday cottage. Little Pig Creek is one of those. The story of how LPC evolved and the care taken in it's construction and furnishing add to the joy of the place - the pictures don't do it justice. LPC is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished (love that Aura bedlinen) and it's location in the Kangaroo Valley is perfect for visiting all the nearby towns and villages. I took three children with me and we found tons to do. But actually, sometimes you just want to chill out by the fire and watch dvds; LPC is hard to leave. 3 nights was not enough and we will definitely return. "

  • "We recently shared a wonderful weekend with another couple at Little Pig Creek and found it to be a wonderfully relaxing yet exciting place to stay. The house was marvellously appointed and we settled in straight away in front of a warm fire - whilst enjoying our complimentary G&T! We have vowed to come again next year now that we've discovered this hide away and refuse to divulge its whereabouts to anyone else! "

  • "LPC sits so comfortably in its surroundings in the beatiful Kangaroo Valley. This feeling of belonging passes through to the guests of LPC which seems to welcome you with open arms. Take time to sit and enjoy this special place and then pass it on to the next person to enjoy - thats how it works! Highly recommended"

  • "Little Pig Creek is Amazing! It is not just a place to stay in Kangaroo Valley...it is an experience; an awakening, a renewal! We stayed there for 2 nights, and really could have stayed there forever! It is an amazing house full of surprises and in which you are encouraged to explore and enjoy. We have two small children aged 8 and 5 , who ( thanks to the dress up box and gardens and amazing little interesting things in the house in which you are encouraged to explore) forgot all about their Wii games and nintendo's and re-discovered the Art of being a child, dressing up, dancing, pretending and having fun! ( so did the adults I might add)... Little Pig Creek is highly recommended as a place to re-discover, relax, and just be!...and is just down the road from the Kangaroo Valley township itself where you can discover amazing shops, buy yummy food from the bakery or explore the river and all its activities. The house is equipped with everything you can possibly need and more! Beds are super-comfy; the oven and cook top is the best I have ever used, provision of lovely soaps and incense are delightful; gin and tonic and chips on arrival is just lovely and there is plenty of fruit in the garden in which you are welcome to pick and enjoy. Loo ( the owner of Little Pig Creek) amazingly shares with you ( through stories, intersting things and photo's) the history of the place, which then makes you feel connected and makes you want to return ....It is a place you MUST stay in if you are visiting Kangaroo Valley....you will miss out on so much if you don't."

  • "We stayed for a week at Little Pig Creek and it felt like longer. So peaceful and relaxing. The house was so well equiped we didn't need to go anywhere. There were lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy the house and its beautiful garden. It was like staying with a very stylish friend who makes sure you have absolutely everything you need to enjoy your stay. "
