Description

Conveniently located in Lenah Valley, under 10 minutes from the city centre. The apartment is on a bus route with bus stop nearby. This is a very well-priced, clean, quality accommodation in a handy location. The apartment contains 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms have a queen size bed while the third has two single beds. The lounge / kitchen/ dining has a dining table for 4, lounge, television, DVD, digital TV, and compact stereo. The bathroom/laundry has a shower and washing machine. A clothesline is outside.
The apartment has a fresh homely feel. Basic cooking condoments are supplied ie oil, jams tea and coffee. It is a private, clean, comfortable, non-smoking environment and is ideal for 4 people but roomy enough for more. This is the ideal place to stay for a family holiday or business trip, short or long term.
The apartment is found at the bottom side of the house after walking down safe stairs. Access is completely private. Parking is on the street.
Views of the River Derwent are terrific.
Visits from local wallaby to back garden an added bonus!

  • "An absolute gem!! We actually had 8 living in this unit for 2 weeks and it was fantastic!! Backyard was great for the 4 kids to run around... they even regularly fed the wallaby that would come most nights into the back yard. The pantry was stocked with heaps of condiments, tea, coffee etc. The kitchen is very well equipped. Large, mega comfy bean bags were great to flop in after a day of snow fights on nearby Mt. Wellington. All beds had wonderful electric blankets. Two heaters avail. Two TV's avail. Heaps of wardrobe/unpacking space. Highly, highly recommend it!!!"

The kitchen is well stocked with incidental supplies, so you don't have to worry about sugar, or salt and pepper, etc."

  • "We really loved this place, actually it was the best pick out of all the places we stayed at in Tassie!. Everything you need is right there. Lovely views at night. well set up and reasonably price. Great for families.(2 flights of steep steps- consider this when booking for elderly/ disabled/ very young kids- we had no problems though. Downfalls: tv reception- we couldn't get TV reception. (was brought to their attention, so I'm sure it'd be fixed by now). I would highly reccommend this place to stay at. We will be back! Thank-you for a wonderful stay!"
