Enjoy the bushland setting of our 2.5 bedroom 'Cottonwood' eco cabin, sleeps 6. Master bedroom has Queen bed, 2nd bedroom has twin beds. Alcove has double folddown sofabed. Fully screened verandahs off living/dining area.

Well-equipped kitchen (gas stove top, microwave but no oven) for self-catering. Linen (optional) baggage service and exit clean included in price. Self catering is essential as there are no food outlets.

Bikes are available for use (at own risk)

The Environment

Formerly part of Couran Cove Island Resort situated on South Stradbroke Island - 40 mins by ferry from the Hope Harbour Marina Passenger Terminal or 20 mins by water taxi from Runaway Bay, this privately owned property still has the use of well cared for and maintained resort facilities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, sports centre, children's playground, laundry, shop, surf beach, and nature walks - all without the crowds.
This is an ideal environment for nature lovers as wallabies, goannas, bats and birds abound in the coastal scrub and the 22km long surf beach is pristine. The broad water side of the island hosts many kinds of marine creatures and birds.
Relax and enjoy nature from the comfort of the cabin.

Transport

Fast cat ferry from CCIR departure terminal at Hope Harbour Marina, John Lund Drive, approx 1 hours drive from Brisbane.

Return Ferry cost is $25per adult (15+ years), $12.50 per child (3 to 14 years)

Water taxi is available from Runaway Bay

CAR PARKING: secure car parking is available at the ferry departure terminal
