Whispering Brook country house commands spectacular views of the estate's 25 acres of vineyards, olive groves and charming cottage gardens. Whispering Brook is a beautiful and spacious country house with 6 bedrooms, an open plan sleeping area and 3 bathrooms - sleeping 10-18 guests. Crisp white linen is supplied and the bathrooms are equipped with hand made olive oil guest soaps.

Stroll to the Whispering Brook cellar door and winery to sample boutique, artisan wines and olive oils or relax with a cheese and antipasto platter on the cellar door verandah or book your own in-house chef for a special dining experience.

The house features an open plan, fully equipped recycled timber kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances including a large stainless steel gas and electric oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator and microwave oven. Large indoor and outdoor entertaining areas with BBQ are perfect for entertaining.

An open fireplace and wood heater, air-conditioning and heating, audio and visual entertainment equipment, washing machine, table tennis and games room provide a leisurely retreat.

Relax sipping Artisan wine whilst gazing out across estate vineyards & olive groves from the privacy of your own boutique country house.

Unwind with a walk through the cottage gardens complete with fresh herbs to complement that special dish should you feel in the mood for cooking. We also feature an in-house chef. Alternatively, choose from a superb selection of restaurants and a range of activities in the famous Hunter Valley. Either way, a memorable escape is assured.

A short stroll from the house is the Whispering Brook cellar door. Guests are offered a complimentary tutored tour of the estates vineyards, olive groves and winery followed by a tasting at the cellar door. Relax on the verandah of the cellar door with a a gourmet antipasto and cheese platter for a casual luncheon overlooking the estate's vineyards and olive groves.

Should you feel in the mood to explore, we can assist you book a winery tour of the area or some of the many activities available such as hot air balloon rides, beauty therapy and massage, swimming, tennis, golf and in-house chef to serve a special meal or just drop of specially prepared meals to you to enjoy at leisure.

Whispering Brook is surrounded by the picturesque and natural beauty of Yengo National Park, Brokenback range and the meandering Wollombi Brook in the heart of the Hunter Valley.

WEEKEND RATES (2 nights, Fri-Sun)
~The nightly weekend rate for up to 10 guests is $950.00 per night for a 2 night minimum stay.
~Extra adult guests are charged at $95 per adult per night. ~Children (2-13 yrs) are charged at $60 per child per night.
~Infants under 2 years are free.
~Extra nights either side of the weekend stay are available at midweek rates at $80 per person/night(except public holidays).

MID WEEK RATES (2 nights, Mon-Thurs)
~The nightly mid week rate for up to 8 guests is $600 per night for a 2 night minimum stay.
~Extra adult guests are charged at $80 per adult per night.
~Children (2-13 yrs) are charged at $50 per child per night.
~Infants under 2 years are free.

WEEKLY RATES AND LONGER STAYS
~Discounts are available for five or more night stays for 8 or more guests at $550 a night based on up to 8 guests. ~Additional guests are charged at $70 per adult or $50 per child per night.

Weekend and Public Holiday bookings must be for a minimum of 10 or more guests or the equivalent tariff and are 3 night stays only. Easter is a 4 night stay. Christmas and New Year bookings are usually a minimum of 3-4 nights depending on which day they fall on.

A bond of $300-$500 is payable upon booking depending upon the size of the group.

Boutique wine & olive tasting at our cellar door

Experience our boutique wines, delicious olive products and antipasto and cheese platters at our beautiful Australian themed cellar door, with its wide sweeping verandah's and beautiful mountain views. Enjoy a glass of wine with a cheese platter on the comfortable leather lounges in the cellar door in front of the slow combustion heater or on the verandah.

Twilight tastings are available on Friday afternoon by appointment. Ask about our boutique vineyard tours and private wine tastings and our wine flights.
