Anandadhama is strongly influenced by an eastern theme. It's name comes from Sanskrit and means 'Place of Joy'.
Indian paintings, antiques and rich, colourful carpets combine beautifully with a stylish, contemporary interior. The atmosphere is spacious, tranquil and luxurious.
The architect designed home is perched on the hillside above the Leura Cascades. French doors connect you with a beautiful garden and the lush vista beyond.
The home has four generous bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to eight people. The spacious gourmet kitchen is fitted with european appliances.
Enjoy the beauty of nature....
There are two decks and an outside sitting area, inviting you to enjoy the abundant bird life while observing the play of light across the valley. The changing vista at different times of the day is enchanting, especially at sunset.
The atmosphere is serenely beautiful when the mist rolls in from the valley below. One guest compared it to her experience of living in Mandalay.
A track from the end of the close takes you to the Leura Cascades within a few minutes, connecting with all the famous bush walks in this area.
The Three Sisters, Bridal Veil Falls, Leura Forest and Mount Solitary are all immediately accessible from here via well maintained bush tracks.

We were so lucky to have found the beautiful haven of Anandadhama. It was the perfect place for the reunion of our two families, and so close to so many of the beautiful attractions in the blue mountains. The peaceful atmosphere, the wonderful garden, the view of the surrounding hills and the sounds and sights of the local fauna were perfect. The house is so gorgeous and stylish, and we were all able to relax and have fun. Everything we needed and more, was there.
We did not want to leave.
Thank you for a great holiday.

We recently spent a few days at Anandadhama. It was beautiful! A clean and welcoming house in immaculate condition with lots of room for two families. Comfortable beds and lots of little touches around the place to make it feel homely. And the best location - we particularly loved the sound of birds and the waterfall - made us relax very quickly. Thank you Anna for a lovely stay - we will be back.

Enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend at Anandadhama. Three couples sharing the house which was warm and cosy with it's central heating, plus extra heaters supplied if needed in the bathrooms.
Great views over the valley and their private garden. We made full use of the fully equiped kitchen and open dining area.
A 20 minute interesting walk into Leura was an enjoyable outing, and dont miss the bush track down to Leura Cascades from the end of Govett Street.
Thanks Anna for all your helpful advise, and travel pamplets and books.

The best house I've stayed in the Blue Mountains! Spacious, well laid out, beautiful kitchen and dining area; plus a gorgeous garden and view. Super clean - you can eat off the floor. We stayed 2 nights and I didn't want to leave! Next time I'll book for a week.

We had a lovely weekend at Anandadhama with a mixed group of friends, the house was perfect for our needs! The house itself is beautiful and very, very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and perfect to cook up any storm in! Plenty of space for everyone, nice verandas to soak up the afternoon sun on and set in a lovely garden. We will hopefully be back before too long!!

We loved our stay at Anandadhama. Even the frosty mornings were magical. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room to spread out and escape to your own private space. Beautifully decorated, wonderful views and thoughtful touches for guests to enjoy all the facilities. Even with 3 kids aged 8 and under in tow we left feeling calm and relaxed, I think Anandadhama rubbed off on them too.

We spent a week at Anandadhama with our family and had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully appointed and the views and birdlife made for a relaxing time away from the city. The children loved exploring the garden and we loved sitting on the verandah listening to nothing!

Our family recently spent a weekend at Anandadhama with some special guests from Italy. The house is stunning - it caters to all needs, is stylish, modern and serene. We enjoyed the close proximity to all the major attractions, as well as the opportunity to take some quiet time out with no interruptions. Anna has done a fabulous job with this house - it is well worth the visit.

The photos and description of Anandadhama don't do it justice.
I have just spent a weekend at this lovely, warm and cosy house with my family and it was absolutely delightful.
The house was extremely clean and spacious. It is located at the end of a laneway so you get a sense of being very secluded, whilst being a stones throw from Leura Mall.
We felt at home from the second we arrived and Anna was very attentive to all our needs and ensured we had a perfect weekend. I would highly recommend staying here.

I had a "Christmas in July" weekend away with some friends, & it could not have been better! Anna was lovely & greeted us warmly & showed us around the house. The house itself is beautiful, it is in such a good location close to the main streets of Leura but is somewhat secluded down a laneway & has a stunning view over a small valley. Extremely clean, & had super comfy beds & great kitchen. Seriously, beautiful house & location, & Anna was extremely helpful & kind. Would definitely recommend the house & visit again.

It is a beautiful home - very spacious with high ceilings and warm timber flooring, a well appointed kitchen, lovely bathrooms and 4 bedrooms with lots of natural light. The decor is lovely and the home is very clean and welcoming. The view from the verandah is gorgeous - a lovely garden, lots of birds and trees in the valley.
All the little extras were appreciated - fresh cut flowers.....and plenty of soap, shampoo, dishwasher tablets, sponges and extra toilet paper!
We had a great time and highly recommend this property!
