The Beach House is a newly renovated airy beach house minutes from several pristine beaches. Renovated in Sep 10 it now has 3 bedrooms, a new kitchen and 3 new bathrooms, polished floors throughout, generous deck and large BBQ. The house retains the beach house feel of the old "Fibro shack" but modernised with every convenience.
There are two queen rooms (one ensuite) and a bunk room (4 bunks). The bunk room has its own TV and XBox. All have comfortable, new beds. Bunks are child safe with a full rail on the top. Also games and books provided.
There is a combined Laundry/bathroom and two further bathrooms with washer and dryer as well as outside line. Outside shower with hot water. Timber deck with BBQ and furniture.
The kitchen has new appliances including larger fridge with dishwasher (essential for holidays!) and lots of equipment including espresso machine and we leave tea/coffee, condiments, oils and cookbooks.
There is a relaxing daybed to read your book and a dining table which comfortably seats at least 8.
Heating is supplied for winter in house and bathrooms.
The house backs onto a reserve at the rear and is 1 mins walk to the walkway to the crystal clear creek which goes directly to the beach. Shops/cafe are 2 mins away. Club is 5 mins walk.
There is no front fence so not suitable for pets. We take a deposit bond for booking of 6 or more adults.

This beach house ticks all our boxes. So quiet & relaxing,
uncluttered & nicely furnished, all very fresh, new & spotless. The kitchen has a dishwasher, coffee machine & there's a BBQ on the deck.

"Just wanted to thank you for the use of your lovely house last week, which really is very nice. We had a good break"
Currarong is under 3 hours from Sydney and is in the Jervis Bay area. There are only 500 houses so it is a lovely quiet village. No hotels or high rise buildings!
There is a club and local restaurant with the best fish and chips, fish caught daily. Shops include newsagent and general store.
We provided videos, games, dvds for kids and adults in case of bad weather.
The town of Nowra is a 20 minute drive and has lots of other entertainment including arts, cinema etc.
Local scuba diving. Our guests took these photos at Jervis Bay and at the wreck of the SS Merimbula which is a walk in dice close to the house
The Beach House is a minute's walk (100m) from a crystal clear swimable creek and Warrain beach. A 10 minute walk will take you to the beginning of the peninsula bushwalk which leads all round the Beecroft Peninsula and off which can be found numerous small uncrowded beaches and bays. A bit further into the bushwalk leads to spectacular cliff walks. There are approximately 14 beaches within the near vicinity of The Beach House.
Being surrounded by bushland, beaches and with no hotels, motels or through traffic, Currarong is one of the most peaceful and picturesque parts of the south coast.
Abrahams Bosom Beach is a safe sheltered beach which has picnic grounds with wood BBQs at either end. A variety of walks start from this sheltered cove ranging from the 500-meter stroll to the wreck of the SS Merimbula to the half-day Coombs walk. The cliffs off the peninsular are spectacular.
A number of walks and sheltered swimming areas can be accessed from the road to Point Perpendicular. The lookout allows spectacular views of Jervis Bay. The lighthouse is a photographers delight. Whales, dolphins and seals can often be spotted from the top of the cliffs.
Honeymoon Bay, a small heart-shaped beach on the Beecroft Peninsula is another popular destination for snorkelling.
Excellent rock fishing is to be found all around the peninsula.
Bushwalking, swimming, snorkelling, photo-taking, fishing and bird watching are just some of the offerings available in this beautiful part of the world.
Short drives will take you to the beautiful Kangaroo Valley or to the village at Berry. Husskinson is a short drive with Diving, WHale watching and shopping.
