The guesthouse boasts seven delightful guestrooms each of which are unique. The guesthouse features two guest lounges. The Fireside Lounge is decorated in a rich Federation-style colour scheme and furnished with cozy couches around the open fireplace – perfect for curling up with a good book and a glass of port. Downstairs is a wonderful Billiard Room which has been designed in the style of an old Australian shed. Clad in corrugated iron and recycled timber, the room features a billiard table, darts, chess board, plasma screen and a bar, perfectly suited for watching the big game with a group of friends or challenging your partner to a game of snooker.
In addition to the delightful, leisurely breakfasts, a highlight of many weekend stays at the guesthouse is the chef-prepared Saturday evening meal (please contact guesthouse directly to check whether dinner will be served on the weekend of interest). Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapes on the verandah (or the bar downstairs in cooler months), followed by a 4-course chef-prepared meal of elegant fare served in the formal dining room. To finish off the experience, port, coffee and chocolates are offered in the lounge. No need to call a taxi -- your room is only steps away.
