The Garden Apartment provides one bedroom accommodation for 1-2 guests. The bedroom has a double bed and free standing wardrobe, luxurious bed linen and comfortable doonas and blankets.

The bathroom is beautifully appointed with shower and vanity. Hairdryer and quality bath towels are provided.

A European style laundry includes combined washing machine and dryer. A well equipped kitchenette includes island bench seating for two, convection microwave and hotplates, all cooking utensils and appliances.

The open plan living room opens onto a lovely balcony overlooking the central shared courtyard, and has outdoor dining for two. Plasma television with Foxtel (basic package plus sport) and internet connection are included. A desk is also provided for those on business.

Central heating and air conditioning is provided throughout.

The location is within an easy walk of the prime shopping and eating area of Bridge Road, the restaurants of bustling Victoria Street, the mighty MCG and Rod Laver Arena - home of the Australian Open. You can also stroll through Fitzroy Gardens to the CBD or catch a tram - right on the doorstep - to take you a short ride to all of Melbourne\'s hot spots ie. Southbank, Docklands or Chapel Street.

A leisure centre with a 50 metre swimming pool and a gymnasium is just around the corner.

Off street parking can be provided free of charge, pending availability and needs to be pre-booked.

Local area - Richmond

Located a convenient 2 km east of Melbourne central business area on the city fringe, Richmond is an inner suburb that is closest to the sporting precinct. All Saints Richmond is opposite the MCG precinct,and is half way between the Bridge Road and Swan St shopping and cafe strips. It is a brisk walk to the MCG, the Tennis centre, and the Botanic Gardens. Trams provide easy access to the city, the sporting areas and adjacent suburbs. The railway and major feeder roads both pass through Richmond, making for easy access from the airport.
