About this property

Mountain Comfort Overlooking Stream Surrounded by Evergreens on shuttle

Located in the super convenient, non commercialized East Vail Valley, this townhome directly overlooks Gore Creek and is completely surrounded by mountains and tall evergreen trees. There is no need to drive once you arrive; the free town shuttle picks up directly behind our townhouse to take you directly to ski lifts, shopping, restaurants, etc. Restaurant and bar on site and grocery store down the road. The interior is tastefully decorated in mountain modern design. Lots of privacy between sleeping areas on three levels. Bedrooms feature super comfy mattresses and bedding; and all have gorgeous views to wake up to. Tons of natural light with room darkening wood blinds. Short walk to hiking and biking trails. The free town shuttle picks up directly behind our townhome every 15 min. in winter and 30 min. in summer. New windows throughout, natural hickory wood floors on main level and newer modern carpet on other levels. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in a park setting.

Within a short walk of hiking trails, waterfalls, and only five miles or short shuttle ride from the ski slopes. Snow shoe rentals are available in the club. The Club just completed a three-million-dollar renovation and features a new health and fitness club, heated outdoor olympic-size pool and hot tub, as well as brand new restaurant and bar opening Jan. 2019.The town of Vail has completed a billion dollar 'facelift' and is now an even more remarkable destination.

This is truly a lovely atmosphere in either summer or winter. Both master bedrooms feature huge windows on two and three walls respectively. This home is not in a rental pool and is comfortably furnished for use primarily as our second home. Many of our guests return each year.

Wonderful experience
Great condo. Sleeps many. Cozy living area. Well stocked. Parking can be a little difficult during high season. Great to have a restaurant walking distance away.

worked well for us
This townhouse has beautiful views of the woods, stream, and mountains. And when we were there...snow! We chose this location mostly for access to the shuttle, which was very good. The walk to the shuttle is uphill and across the road, but even then was maybe a 2 min walk. The shuttle ride is about 20 mins to Vail Transportation Center, and about 25 mins back. From the Vail Transportation Center to the gondola is down 4 flights of stairs (or an elevator) and then a long walk through the village. We definitley recommend the elevator after a hard day of skiing! The house itself was a mixture of high-tech and old-school, nicely decorated and dated, vacation rental and family home. It was very comfy and functional, but could use a good deal of minor maintenance throughout. We really appreciated the collection of fun family games and the really nice smart TV in the living room. We had two families and the layout worked well for us. Very quiet. First floor is the kitchen, living room, and an entryway with plenty of storage for your ski stuff. Up one flight of steps is one full bathroom. Up the next flight of steps is the master bedroom with king bed and bathroom, and the bunk room. One more flight up is the laundry room with full-sized washer, dryer, and utility sink. And at the top of the final flight of steps is the other master bedroom with queen-bed and bathroom. This bedroom also contains the door to the loft over the bunkroom. The loft has a single bed that looked so cozy! Lyn was very responsive to questions and helpful trying to resolve issues.

Great place
We had a great time at the condo. The condo was very clean and everything was in working condition. The bedrooms were all spacious but the living area was a little small for 6 adults. The free bus was right behind the house and was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again! Also, Lyn was very timely with any answers to our questions.

Linda S., Manhattan Beach

Property was ok- decent price compared to other rentals at that time.
The place could use some TLC. The shower heads are bad, doors don’t shut well, one faucet sprays all over, electricity in one bathroom doesn’t work, dishwasher spotty, dish ware cracked, poor lighting throughout, etc. Basics are there though and the owners were in contact, although not local so they couldn’t do much quickly, but were as responsive as they could be.

Amazing time in Vail!!!
The townhouse was very clean and well set up for a perfect vacation! The location is perfect, with the creek and waterfall right by the townhouse, it sounded amazing every day especially at night with windows open! Very close to Vail village and Lionshead village! Just a perfect family vacation townhouse! Owner Lyn is very nice to speak with, always answered the phone and gave us great recommendations for what to do with the family while in town!!!! Definitely coming back 😁
